Engraved scroll and floral decoration adorns the body, faceted handle and spout of this rare octagonal water pitcher by William Forbes for Ball, Tomkins & Black, New York, NY. Apart from a couple of minor dings it is in very fine condition. The engraving is still sharp, showing good detail. Inscribed with the name 'Swain'. Measures 9" tall. Weighs 26 T.oz.
