Large coin repousse pitcher, c.1850

Here is a very large coin water pitcher with extensive repousse decoration of floral swags to the body and shellfish to the foot, the handle is cast in the form of a looped grape vine. The maker's mark, N.A.Freeman, 289 B'way, is double struck inside the foot. He is listed as working at that address in New York, NY c.1846-50. In very good condition and without inscription.
