Sterling grape shears by Gorham, 1891

Here is an exceptional pair of sterling grape shears by Gorham. It is fashioned from cast sterling which explains the above average weight. The handles are clad in grape vines and shell motifs all with a vermeil finish. The blades have steel edges attached. Marked on the blade with Gorham's hallmarks and the date letter for 1891.
