Repousse coin silver child's mug, S.Kirk & Son, c.1850

Here is a very early repousse coin mug with all-over decoration of flowers, ferns and fruit. More contemporary repousse mugs are hard to find, which makes this one with marks for around 1850 a bit of a rarity. Fully marked on the base with S. Kirk & Son, 11oz together with a scrolling monogram BH. No repairs, in good condition for its age. Dimensions: 2.75" high, 2.5" in diameter. 5 Troy oz.
