Coin Asparagus tongs, Medallion, unmarked, c.1860

Here is a wonderful Medallion coin silver asparagus tongs in very good condition. Not even a monogram. Engraving still sharp, showing no excessive wear. I cannot even attribute it to any silversmith, but that should not detract from its value as a very rare and important article. Dimensions: 10.5" long, 2.1" at its widest. Weight: 5 Troy oz.
