Large sterling heart dish, Gorham 1951

A beautiful pierced sterling dish in the form of a heart on 3 ball feet. Very pretty piercing and embossed scroll-work. In very good condition. No monogram. Just a couple of tiny dings. These 'heart' dishes come in various sizes. This is the Large size. There is one bigger and a few smaller. Marked Gorham, Lion, Anchor, G, Sterling, 965, and the date mark for 1951 (a 1 in a pentagon). Dimensions: 9.5" by 8.25". Weight 10 Troy oz.
