Nice WWI sawback bayonet, meant for the guy that likes the used look (I do). The sawback is in fine shape but the edge has been heavily sharpened leading to a narrow middle (See photos). These were intended for pioneer use to clear branches etc, but were popular with the men in the trench who needed every edge possible for business. This looks to have been well used during the war. Blade is marked Simson&Co SUHL...

This is a lovely Belgian Cavalry saber. German blade makers were very popular with many different countries at the time and this was most certainly a private purchase. The size is very comparable to the U.S. model 1860 cavalry saber so I would date this right around the mid 19th century. The blade is engraved POUR LE ROI - ET LA PATRIE, French for "For King and Homeland". The lion rampant shown on both the blade engraving and the handle indicate this is Belgian...

Interesting army officer dagger from East Germany. Mint in original issue box with hangers and belt loop. Intriguingly, the warranty is still present offerring 12 month warranty from June 20 1990. The German Democratic Republic closed shop on October 3 1990. I would have had little confidence in this warranty. The serial number 085602 is on the ricasso of the dagger, the warranty and even the box, although a bit faded on box as per last attached image...

Engraved Bavarian sword by Eickhorn. I believe this short model (Just over 70cm end to end) is intended for use by police. This is an early Imperial German example with the early back to back squirrel Eickhorn logo. The blade is very nice with no nicks or plating issues and only very minor light spotting here and there due to age. Both sides of the blade are engraved with the Bavarian "In Treue Fest" motto (In true service). Also engraved is the distributor J.M. PAUSCHINGER NURNBERG...

Absolutely lovely sword. Nicely shaped handle is done in gold gilt with very attractive ribbed ivory grips. Very nicely done eagle with the Savoy crest on his belly and fasces in his claws. The brown and gold bullion woven knot is actually a dagger knot for high ranking officials and officers but I think it is probably original to the sword and was just preferred by the original owner. This is a very rare knot. Blade is clean as a whistle with no nicks, sharpening or plating issues...

Lovely British/Scottish sword with brass scabbard etched presntation: Presented to Lieutenant Colonel John Dickie COMMANDING 2ND BATTALION AYRSHIRE RIFLE VOLUNTEERS BY PAST AND PRESENT MEMBERS OF NO1 COMPANY Kilmarnock 30th April 1875. Sword is in very good condition as per photos and the engraved presentation is just beautifully done. Very nice Bavarian Currasier sword. Engraved on both sides of the blade with the Bavarian motto "In Treue Fest". Early double squirrel Eickhorn logo. Blade is near perfect with just a tiny area of white speckling (See photo), otherwise mirror bright throughout. Blade has a pleasing heavy curve to it. The scabbard has no dents but does show some areas of paint loss (See photos). The handle shows the expected patination and minor oxidation. Fish skin grip and wire wrap are in great shape...

This is not a minty piece but is just how I like it. Early blade marged M3 Camillus combat knife dated 1943. The handle is cracked along each rib as these tend to do. It looks fine but wiggles with finger pushing. The blade shows solid wear and old sharpening. M6 paratrooper scabbard is also dated 1943 and shows wear similar to the knife. Nothing is broken on the scabbard but it definitely has its share of scuffs. I also really like this bootlace thing going on at the end. Honest been there para...

Very nice dress bayonet by Eickhorn. This wood grip variation is fairly scarce and were meant to simulate stag horn grips. Overall it is an interesting look. The grips are in great shape and the only condition issue I find is some very minor freckling on an otherwise beautiful, mirror bright blade. This freckling is subtle enough it was difficult to even capture in photograph but after trying repeatedly I did get some images where it shows. These wood gripped dress bayonets are sometimes called ...

Very attractive dress bayonet with brown leather frog indicative of Luftwaffe personnel. The Eickhorn marked bayonet is in great shape with no particular damage to speak of. The blade shows only 3 little spots along the edge on one side (See photos), otherwise clean and mirror bright. The handle fittings are all equally clean and the plug remains in the slot. This green plug is a scarcer variety. The brown frog is a winner with nice, healthy leather. Nice backmarking JOSEPH MOLL GOCH 1937. Scabb...

Lovely French naval artillery shorts sword which saw service from about 1771 to 1790, a span which perfectly brackets the American Revolutionary War. This exact sword is featured in George C Neumann'a important Swords & Blades of the American Revolution. I have the Third Edition from 1991 and find it on page 189. As the French both supplied troops and also equipped many of the American units it is very likely that this saw service in that war and, as it recently came out of a house in Pennsylvan...

Very interesting Horster officer sword. Made for a Dutch officer as "Eisenhower" has become the Dutch form YZERHOUWER. In either language it is a reference to the highest quality of steel being used. The blade on this example has no negatives I can find. Mirror bright throughout with no greying or oxidation. The Horster logo is beneath the langet. The scabbard has no dents and only minimal pain loss and crazing (See photos). The unfixed ring dates this either Weimar or Third Reich period. The ea...

Nice example of a hard to find accoutrement. These land customs hangers are in good shap with some light wear to the brocade as per attached photos. Good amount of silver wash on all parts with light wear to parts that would normally rub such as back of clips and high relief on buckles. The velvet backing is clean and plush with a nice, smooth pile. One would be hard pressed to find a cheaper pair and these are in perfectly respectable condition.

Very cool grouping including a USMC Mameluke engraved to Charles Lee Morrow and three wall plaques for excellent service in Vietnam. Interestingly, although the plaques show some wear (See photos) they are each from a different Marine Corps division, the 1st, 3rd and 7th. The rank given on two of the plaques is Captain and each is engraved again with his name. The 1st Division plaque specifies service in Vietnam 1968-1969. The plaque from the 7th Division is the most interesting and reads "PRESE...
