Afrika Korps type tropical field cap. Sometimes termed M43 but actually M41. Condition is well worn with some damage as per images. Any markings are long gone. The tan/orange tropical insignia have been replaced with green. Perhaps the original had to replaced and the the fellow simply had no access to the original color. Any number of circumstances could have caused this and we have all seen strange things. Priced accordingly, though.

Respectable NSFK dagger in untouched, uncleaned condition. Very nice early nickel fittings. Nothing is broken but there is decent wear to all fittings. The scabbard leather is original but with solid scuffing (Which I do believe is better the "refinishing"). The point does look a tiny bit smoothed off. Nothing is broken and the fit of all pieces is perfect. Perhaps most interesting is the n.cely marked scabbard throat. It has the NSFK Icarus as well as waffenamt. It also has the markings T.S...

Very nice unmarked die struck steel Waffen SS belt buckle. Excellent finish remaining with just minor rubbing to edges and raised surfaces where we would expect. Nice quality buckle.

Very nice stamped Army General Assault Badge. Nice, honest age but with a nice clean front showing very crisp detail. I always liked the stamped examples as they are much harder to fake with any success. Excellent badge.

Gorgeous Imperial German 1914 Iron Cross First Class. Jeweler quality with a nice convex vaulted shape. The center of the reverse is marked 900 silver and the patina throughout certainly backs this up. Lovely untouched cross with a great look would fit well into advanced collections.

Interesting antique firemen's medal dated October 4-5-6 1923. Very nice fireman artwork on the medallion portion. While fire medals are not particularly rare this one is also notable as it has the ribbon and cockade which are normally all long gone. As can be seen in the images the red ribbon has some damage and the MEMBER bar to the top of the ribbon needs a couple of stitches to reattach to the cockade...

Nice signals officer visor cap with lemon yellow piping. Interior is marked Deutsche Wertarbeit with the maker logo showing an officer wearing visor cap in profile. There are a couple of minor nips and a bit of roughness to the finish of the front visor but all in all a good looking cap priced accordingly.

Excellent example of a cool medal that has become scarce and hard to find. This famous medal was awarded to introduced early in 1942 to commemorate the successes of Rommel's Afrika Korps. This is early when the numbers involved were few. After the Italian capitulation wear of the medal was forbidden which further adds to its scarcity...

Nice porcelain candy dish with a portrait of Hindenburg in uniform with medals. The banner reads Gen.-Feldmarschall von Hindenburg over an iron cross. Surrounding is a stand of arms with Prussian flags, rifles, cannon etc. There is a hairline crack across the lid but still a good looking piece for an Imperial display. Bottom is maker marked "ROYAL RUDOLSTADT Prussia" around a brown and B in shield.

Very interesting horse artillery officer saber by Horstmann and Sons Philadelphia. The blade is deeply patinated and the engraving is difficult to bring out in photographs. Besides the blade the whole package is brass. The scabbard is all brass as well as the handle. Even the grip which at first glance looks like textured fish skin is in fact brass. The Horstmann name is engraved as well as tool punched in. As one might imagine, the large brass content makes this a heavy sword...

Good looking signed Japanese soldier's Hinomaru (Meatball) flag. Nice, clean example with many entries in many different handwritings. One small hole in the red disc, a few stains and the corner tabs are a bit loose but all in all an attractive, well signed WWII flag. Would look great in almost any display.

Interesting bag for care packages to be sent to Japanese soldiers. Not many of these survived so this is a rather uncommon item. About 13.5 x 7.5 inches. Nice graphics with a rising sun flag and a hinomaru flag. Some age wear as per attached images but still a good looking display piece.

Top notch First Class Iron Cross by L/10. This maker mark corresponds to Deschler & Sohn. Deschler was an old and highly respected firm which, when not using the LDO series number, was simply number 1. This cross is in top notch condition as per images and the case is just about stone cold mint. Really a super example that would fit into even very advanced collections. Great EK1.
