HG Division panzer collar tab with skull. Exactly like all the others one sees on the internet...except that it is real. The Hermann Goering Division was of course the Reichsmarschall's pet unit; A Luftwaffe armored field division which was lavishly equipped with the finest equipment that could be found. Some moderate age wear that I think just makes it as cool as can be. See photos for condition. Great look all around.

Very rare and almost impossible to find German propaganda leaflet dropped on American soldiers during WWII. This is the sixth of a series of six leaflets known as the Georgia Series. Condition is a bit rough with some damage to the upper right but when one considers that this is a small leaflet, not much thicker then tissue paper, supposed to be dropped out of an airplane by an air force without air superiority and then carried around by GIs in a war zone it is surprising there is even a one lef...

Militar Verwaltung Belgien Und N Frankreich. Very scarce civilian military official or administration badge. Worn by non-uniform military officials in some Western Europe occupied territories. This one is for Belgium and Northern France. The photos I have seen of this badge in use are all on women. I imagine that this was a popular item to get rid of when the Germans left an area which may explain its scarcity. This is numbered 4115. Has the correct catch while many that I have seen online incor...

Very nice example of a hard to find cap tally. III. TORPEDO BOOTS = DIV.III. Solid condition as per photos. There is a small piece of scotch tape at each end from previous owner. Probably removable but I don't pick at things. Nice example.

Cool industrial tinnie. Literally translates to "District roll call". The pin is missing as this has been monted on something with two holes in the lower corners and one in the top middle. The front is a very impressive political eagle over a DAF cogwheel swaz and Blut Und Boden swaz with big, active smokestacks in the back. It is such a powerful image it was also used on posters at the time with the posters being virtually identical to the tinnie but specifying the year as 1937 which was certai...

Either a small medallion or a token (About 3.5cm diameter) featuring G.FELDMARSCHALL V. HINDENBURG. The reverse has the saying of Hindenburg's: "nicht nur durchhalten sondern gr√ľndlich siegen" or "Don't just persevere but thoroughly win". Now that is really a cool thought. Dated 1914 1915 1916 around the edges. The edge is stamped IMIT BRONCE which is easy enough to translate. Nice wartime propaganda type piece. I do honestly think that Hindenburg is a very underrated historical figure. He was ...

Gorgeous gold wound badge hallmarked 65 for the firm Klein & Quenzer of Oberstein. Prestigious award for which a soldier had to get shot up quite a bit. Terrific near mint example that would be very hard to improve upon.

Fantastic item. 1923 Yankees official 5 cent scorecard. Here is a real time warp item. Great ads to read (I wonder why Black Jack licorice chewing gum isn't around anymore?) but most significantly is Babe Ruth listed as batting third. Hitting cleanup behind Ruth is Wally Pipp. Listed as an infielder on the bench is Lou Gehrig. This was Gehrig's rookie season and Pipp is the unfortunate that had a headache one day in 1925. Gehrig was put in and never came back out until his health forced him out ...

Very nice gold Mothers Cross in case. Excellent cross and probably about full length ribbon. Case is very clean with very minor shelf wear. Light fabric damage at the hinge (The usual spot) but not bad at all. Leatherette cover is really in very nice condition and hinges and snap click work fine. Maker marked ZIEMER & SOHNE OBERSTEIN. Nice medal.

Interesting antique dime store novel. No graphics inside but nice cover art. These pulp type novels were not known for their quality of manufacture. Condition is decent. It is fragile as it is somewhere around 100 years old. Cool shelf display item fr western collection.

The pin is missing on the back but I think this is just a really cool tinnie. Tough looking eagle perched on national symbol looking over a row of anti-tank dragon teeth. There is a spot of oxidation over the U in WESTMARK GAUTAG 1939. Dated June 9-11 Trier which is a city I have fond memories of.

Nice flag consecration for a soldiers' group which was probably a veteran group. Dated August 4 1935. It probably equates to a tinnie but obviously a small ribbon would not have the shelf life of a metal tinnie so not the type of thing we really see much of. Small thing at about 6.5cm. Interesting item.

Very cool donation tinnie for the Spanish Blue Division. Being Spanish made it is a different concept then German donation tinnies. I believe the tab on top is so it could be attached to a shirt pocket. The reverse shows an arm stabbing an arrow shaft into a dragon. With the words above "Rusia es culpable!" or "Russia is guilty" the dragon is clearly Russia while the arrow is the symbol of the Spanish military. Being a small paper tab this is a scarce item and very cool.

Very cool 1935 tinnie for the dedication of the monument for 28th Infantry Regimen Von Goeben (2.Rhein). I remember visiting this monument in Koblenz on my honeymoon and I believe there is a reenactment group which has revived the unit name. Nice tinnie from the reunion of a very solid unit.

This is a very rare Skoshi Tiger patch recently purchased out of an advanced aviation patch collection. This group was charged with evaluating the F5 in live combat situations in 1965 and 1966. The original owner's labels are taped on the back and I will leave them there as they are somewhat helpful. Very cool patch not often coming to market.

These old airline travel postcards are so cool. With a little frame this would fit into almost any decor. Only us macho guys would know that the Condor, with only some small modifications, was a top notch Luftwaffe maritime patrol aircraft, flying long-range reconnaissance and was used as an anti-shipping/maritime bomber aircraft. It saw early success as a commerce raider and was later used as a transport. This last role was not optimal for its characteristics and a few were even flown into the ...

Very nice Luftwaffe portrait postcard. W. Willrich painted a series of portraits of national war heroes, many of which were made into postcards. This one, dated 1940, is Haputmann Falck, Staffelkapitan einer erfolgreichen Jadgstaffel. Or "succesful fighter squadron leader". Cool, unused postcard.

This is the last of a very interesting group of propaganda leaflets I recently purchased. This one is titled "After Hitler's Fall" and touches on preparing the German people to get rid of Hitler and the transition to follow. It asks if the war should be abbreviated or prolonged and then goes into the questions Hitler won't ask such as "Can Hitler's Germany expected a compromise peace? Does Hitler's defeat mean German destruction? Can England deliver the German folk people from bolshevism? Does...

Fascinating set of three propaganda leaflets directed at Russian troops. I can't translate these but they obviously seem to be discussing the wonderful treatment that surrendering Russian soldiers could expect in Germany. The first class amenities look like they would include recreational time, quality healthcare and a comfortable bed in a pleasant room. Maybe a bit far from the truth; Perhaps not all propaganda is true then.

Very interesting propaganda leaflets. This set of two leaflets are in rough condition and really look like they were knocking around in some soldier's pocket for a good while but have a really good look to them and are rare items. One side announces "The Red Army Marches In Germany!" and goes on to basically state that after five years of war it has come back home and what has already been decided is going to end. Every hour that Germany delays the end is another hour of devastation. The other s...
