Interesting DJ ID booklet. stamps are for the DJH and the title of the cover reads "Reichsverband fur Deutsche Jugendherbergen Landesverband Scleisen" or Reich's Assocition for German Youth Hostels Nationwide Association Silesia". Not sure what this is all about but it does intriguing. Well filled out booklet with DJ uniform photo inside.

Nice pair of Luftschutz goggles. Very lightweight, almost disposable. Band still has some elasticity. Plastic lenses fold into quarters to go into thick paper sleeve. Black frame is felt of all things. Just a little dirty (I don't clean anything) but excellent shape. Kind of a neat item priced cheap.

Interesting passbook from German occupied Latvia. Booklet is from the GENERALKOMMISAR IN LETTLAND. It appears that he only had assignment stamps. The first is December 16,1940 and the other August 8,1944. The reason is clear when you look at his occupation. He was a technicial at the Libauer Eisenwerke (Ironworks), so the fellow was lucky enough to have one of the most vital jobs in a mid 20th century war until the middle of 1944 when all bets were off. Beautiful Frauenschft wall flag or podium banner for the National Socialist Women's League. At 115cm x 115cm it is a good size and wonderfully made. The gold lettering is intricately woven and all design work is separately sewn. No tears or damage save a few small stains the worst of which are shown in the last three photos; I guess it has to have some signs of age. This one is a real winner.

Those of you who follow my listings will know that I don't like to call things "mint" but I will take the plunge on this one. I can't find a thing wrong with this very cool hat that seems to have come out of a time capsule. Wonderful aluminum thread eagle badge. V-shaped sweatband has perfect coloring and is soft and supple. Original tag is inside the top flap and has all the manufacturing and lot information. It is a model 1934 and looks to be dated 1935. Excellent WWII Luftwaffe belt buckle and belt. Buckle has original tab in excellent shape marked ASSMANN & SOHNE LUDENSCHEID 1941 (See photos). Buckle is in excellent shape with a nice, high eagle and great detail and has some original finish left. Leather on the belt is very nice; Strait with only very minor signs of usage wear.
