Very nice German engraved officer sword. very handsome lion head features red ruby eyes. The front langet shows sabers and pennants indicating the officer was from the artillery branch of service. The back langet shows a blank shield where the officer could have opted to add a monogram. The knuckle bow features another monogram shield laying in front of more sabers, a lance and a cartridge box; All under an iron cross. The grip is a high quality fish skin with twisted silver triple wire wrap...

1849 dated model 1840 cavalry saber by Ames Mfg Co Cabotville. This model which predated the model 1860 is a big, heavy thing nicknamed "The Wristbreaker" and the only thing worse then swinging one would be to be on the other end. The handle wrapping is long gone and the metal parts have been painted gold long, long ago as was often done in veteran groups such as GAR. This is more subtle then in my flash heavy photos but gold painted it is...

Very interesting engraving on this Imperial German artillery sword. Gorgeous blade is clean as a whistle and bright as a mirror with nicely executed and detailed engraving. One side shows the limbered artillery and stands of arms motif we see on some engraved artillery swords. The other side shows a mounted soldier, horse head and floral motif engraved along with the dedication Fritz Neuf Weihnachten 1910 (With Weinachten translating to Christmas)...

Quite respectable WWII Japanese Type 95 NCO sword. Scabbard does show honest age wear to the original paint. The blade has some dark areas but much of what is shown in the attached images is dried cosmoline. Sword and scabbard have matching numbers 76707 and handle has the expected arsenal stamps. Nice original example priced right for someone who wants a representative piece.

Very attractive Japanese officer dress sword with blade presentation. I can't make it all out but I believe to an officer of the 35 Infantry. I have seen such a presentation before attributed to a military school. The Mon (Or family crest) is the Mandarin Orange. One branch of the Matsudaira family used a similar crest and the Ii family used a few variations...

Excellent example of KABAR Marine fighting knife. Most of the bluing remains on the blade. Stapled scabbard is likewise in excellent condition with staples still present. The reverse of the scabbard has the veteran's name painted on: Roy L. James JR. The same name is lightly impressed on the front but only really visible if the light shines on it just right. Overall a really nice knife with a cool personalization which is conveniently placed on the reverse where it is not overly obvious.

Very nice 1915 dated M98/05 bayonet with sawback for combat engineer or pioneer troops. Maker marked Deutsche Maschinenfabrik A-G Duisburg on ricasso. Blade is nice and clean with minimal greying from age. As is typical with such combat and field used bayonets there is some light sharpening and four tiny nicks on the cutting edge. Spine a crown over 'W' over 15 representing manufacture during 1915 in the reign of Kaiser Wilhelm...

Kabar (Or KA-BAR) fighting knife with terrific overall look. Condition throughout shows gentle period wear consistent with theater used examples but no damage or mistreatment. The grip was a small crack on the section just before the pommel. This is unfortunately a common occurrence with these knives but there is no wiggle and not overly distracting. Blade is marked KA-BAR on one side and USN on the other. The scabbard is a nice, soft brown leather which is healthy a pliant...

Very interesting horse artillery officer saber by Horstmann and Sons Philadelphia. The blade is deeply patinated and the engraving is difficult to bring out in photographs. Besides the blade the whole package is brass. The scabbard is all brass as well as the handle. Even the grip which at first glance looks like textured fish skin is in fact brass. The Horstmann name is engraved as well as tool punched in. As one might imagine, the large brass content makes this a heavy sword...

Gorgeous K98 combat style bayonet. Maker marked by WKC. A top nothc late war example probably made just before they switched over to wood grips. Included frog is in mint condition as well with RBN number that matches well with the period of manufacture of the bayonet. To top it all of is a perfect NCO bayonet troddel or knot. I guess I should mention also that the matching scabbard is mint also. An awesome set that would be more then difficult to match.

Terrific quality GIL leader dagger. GIL was the Fascist youth movement and basically equivalent to the Hitler Youth. This dagger also includes the extremely hard to find leather hanger. These hangers were not particularly well made and the leather used is a bit flimsy so few have survived the decades. This set looks to have been together for the duration. All of the brass fittings on dagger, scabbard and hangers have the same pleasant patina indicating that if this was ever cleaned it was a long...

Terrific example by A C Co which is far scarcer then LF&C. This M1917 trench knife (Also known as The Knuckle Duster) has a nice, smooth, unsharpened triangular blade. The knuckle guard is clean as a whistle and backmarked A.C.Co. USA 1917. The grip shows a nice, healthy wood mostly free of damage except for 5 notches that look intentionally placed. The hard to find scabbard is in similar solid condition with all rivets in place. The scabbard metal fittings are clean and smooth with both pieces ...

Very interesting dagger for East German Air Force general. Unissued and in original case. Comes with appropriate hangers and belt loop. East and West Germany were the respective countries used as front line proxy forces between the United States and Soviet Union during the Cold War. Really a neat piece from an important time in history.

Sold, Thank You
Nice WWI sawback bayonet, meant for the guy that likes the used look (I do). The sawback is in fine shape but the edge has been heavily sharpened leading to a narrow middle (See photos). These were intended for pioneer use to clear branches etc, but were popular with the men in the trench who needed every edge possible for business. This looks to have been well used during the war. Blade is marked Simson&Co SUHL. The spine has the crowned W over 15 indicating this was made in 1915, the first yea...

This is a lovely Belgian Cavalry saber. German blade makers were very popular with many different countries at the time and this was most certainly a private purchase. The size is very comparable to the U.S. model 1860 cavalry saber so I would date this right around the mid 19th century. The blade is engraved POUR LE ROI - ET LA PATRIE, French for "For King and Homeland". The lion rampant shown on both the blade engraving and the handle indicate this is Belgian. Other then the engraving the blad...

Engraved Bavarian sword by Eickhorn. I believe this short model (Just over 70cm end to end) is intended for use by police. This is an early Imperial German example with the early back to back squirrel Eickhorn logo. The blade is very nice with no nicks or plating issues and only very minor light spotting here and there due to age. Both sides of the blade are engraved with the Bavarian "In Treue Fest" motto (In true service). Also engraved is the distributor J.M. PAUSCHINGER NURNBERG. In later sw...
