SA dagger by Gustav Wirth who is one of the scarcest makers of SA daggers. Really about as common as left handed chopsticks. Unfortunately this one is missing the scabbard but this is certainly the more important half. Conditionwise this one is a real cherry. Buttery smooth nickle crossguards fit perfectly to a surprisingly clean and unscarred handle. The blade also fits to the crossguard quite snug and the whole package has clearly been together fr the duration...

Very interesting sample planchet for the SA war wounded badge. Attached to the unfinished edge is a small cord with an RZM conttrol tag with RZM on one side and a 3 on the other. Back marked RZM M1/100 for Werner Redo. I am not clear on how many sample examples may have existed and for what exact purposes but it is certainly an interesting and scarce item and the badge being represented is a desirable badge in its own right.

Very cool two photograph sequence of the destruction of a German sub. The cover slip on both is a warning to watch the release date. The first image shows the u-boat being bracketed by explosions after being forced to surface. The second photograph shows the water disturbance, oil slick and part of the conning tower showing above water after the sub was finished off. The descriptions are on the back of the release date warning and the photos are reported to have been taken November 10 1943...

Really nice Alcoso RAD leader dagger. Everything is nice and tight and clean and all fits together correctly. The grip on the logo side does have a crack. The good point is that this crack is the opposite from the blade motto so won't show in a display. The blade is very lightly sharpened and I honestly didn't even notice this until looking at the blown up images on the listing. Going back to the dagger it is even hard to see when looking for it. This and the crack are priced in...

Goodness, what a cool niche piece. This might not click with many collections but if odd aviation or Eastern European volunteer is of interest I don't know where one might ever find another example. This is an 835 silver hallmarked qualification badge for a Slovakian air force mechanic. A no doubter with a gorgeous uncleaned, untouched patina. Great item.

Terrific 2nd model Luftwaffe dagger. Real nice package throughout showing no damage, nice matching fittings and a perfect orange handle. Topping it off is a blade that is pretty darn close to a 10. Just a good looking piece throughout.

Very nicely executed enamel and gold wash badge for 25 year veteran Eisenbahn Verein with the '25' being found in the silver washed oak leaf wreath at the bottom. I have seen this with a pin on the back for wear as a badge but this one has a post for wear as an oversized lapel pin. Looking at the finish on the reverse I don't believe this one ever had a different configuration. The device is 32x37mm...

Cool marker for mines or gas weapons used by the German military during WWII. The smaller triangular flag on red metal post was used to mark individual mines. This is the larger 19x19cm square version that I understand was used to identify trucks carrying such dangerous equipment. Very cool item.

Gorgeous example of a rare dagger. N.P.E.A. student dagger with bottom crossguard marked N.58 . This is an early number and the "N" indicates the school to be Naumburg/Saale. Students had the option of engraving the school on the upper crossguard and this one is indeed engraved N.P.E.A. Naumburg/Saale. I believe the upper engravings were done upon graduation. The blade is an extremely nice example with very minor age wear and cross graining still showing...

Very nice, large WWII era Japanese naval sake cup with a diameter of 10cm. Very strong paint with gold leaf anchor with Rising Sun flag in the center adorned with cherry blossoms. Also in gold, across the top is a crane whose wings extend to give the whole cup a gold rim. The crane is a symbol of loyalty to the emperor. On the bottom is the soldier's name: Yoshikawa. I find no damage or even paint rubs. Great piece to add to an Imperial Japanese navy display.

This armband was introduced in 1937 and was meant for combatants who were not member of the armed forces (Wehrmacht). I am still not sure what that exactly means but it is a good looking eagle on an eye-catching yellow field so a great piece for display purposes.

This is a great looking WWI German patriotic pin or brooch. The center is a transparent dome with an Imperial navy flag. Around that is a laurel wreath with bow. Around that layer is an attractive blue enamel field with gold colored border. Very nice piece; One would think maybe for the wife of a sailor. A little over 4cm wide.

Nice watch fob with a good looking steel helmet on background of oak leaves and acorns shown on the front. In the bottom right is a tiny BM which must represent the artist making the original mold. The reverse shows a smooth field for engraving in the center and a continuation of the oak leaf and acorn motif to the top and bottom. Shown here is: 7.J.R.19 WEIHNACHTEN 1937. All except the first "7" is raised and thus part of the casting mold. That first "7" is engraved into the fob...
