Fine fuchi with 5 crane mon on a nanako field. Gold inlay is crisp. Excellent condition. 2 8/16" x 13/16". Seppa Dai is just over 1 1/16" x 6/18".

This offering is a fine pair of menuki featuring a monkey riding a horse on one and the other looks to be a monkey chasing a horse, attempting to mount. There looks to be just a bit of smoothing in a tiny spot of one horse's leg. Other then that condition is terrific and detail is fine right down to the horses' abumi and even the braiding on the harnesses.
