I have had a few of these over the years but this is easily the best. Soft, even patina throughout with no dents, scuffs or run burns to the plate. Chain and plate are matching RZM 102. Felt is just about perfect on back. Just a great example.

A very impressive piece. Eagle trophy presentation reads: "Our esteemed company commander SS Haupsturmfuhrer Zahn in memory of the 4th (MG) Company of the 8th SS TK Regiment, Lublin on January 30, 1941". This rank is basically equivalent to a captain which is right in line with being a company commander. Apparantly this fellow was the commander of a machine gun of the 8 SS Totenkopf regiment...

Even when listing relatively common items I do try to offer choice examples. This Hitler Youth buckle is a real choice example. Nickel finish is just gorgeous. High quality buckle with perfect detail. Contemporary to the transitional period around 1936 this buckle is marked with the Assman logo as well as A&S for Assman and son. Also marked GES GESCH (referring to a patent) as well as the company manufacturing code RZM 17...

Beautiful example of the Hamburg Field Honor Cross. Very solid finish remaining to the gold swords and wreath. The enamel is complete with only a tiny hairline to the upper arm. This is a very attractive medal and was popular with veterans because it did not require being in any particular veteran group (Which often translated to armed private armies). This medal can often be seen in early SA and SS photographs but was banned in November 1935. Lovely example of an attractive medal.

P cypher for Panzerjager shoulder boards. These are getting hard to find and this is a cherry set. Price compare at the "fancy sites" for around $125.

Very nice officer's visor cap. Sometimes the piping colors drive me a bit nuts but I think this is Transport but possibly Sonderfuhrer. It is a soft, pale blue. At any rate it is an interesting variation. Condition is really top notch. I find one nip just over the eagle and one nip in the velvet band just over the right side slide knot. Then there is a stain on the inside liner. All three of these condition issues are visible in the photos. The negatives being said, this hat is in super shape...

These Kreissieger badges are well made and attractive with their highly detailed eagles. Nice, solid construction. This one has some enamel damage to the lower quadrant of the diamond (Priced in). FERD WAGNER PFORZHEIM

Very nice Eickhorn officer sword. Scharnhorst pattern from the Eickhorn Field Marshall series. Good looking handle shows most gold finish in place. Under handle is marked GES GESCH. Leopard head has nice red eyes. Grip and wire wrap are in great shape. Blade is a real screamer; Mirror bright with not a negative that I can find to mention. Scabbard is excellent with 98%+ paint in place and minimal wear. Really a very nice sword and as always a good bit cheaper then the "other guys".

Personalized army officer's dagger by WKC. The engraving is beautifully rendered but the name itself is a real shocker (See photos). Condition is flawless with no damage found. Fittings have a rich, even and very attractive patina. Blade is excellent. Any unevenness seen in the photos of the blade are due to oil. The condition and personalization make this a top notch dagger that would not be out of place in even the best of collections.
