Nice fiber type Japanese sun helmet with a brown paint overcoat. This is the original paint. Most of the lines are just paint crazing. There is the whitish circle showing on the top and a slightly weak spot in the rim that doesn't look bad but can be wiggled. Overall it holds its shape well. The liner is in fine condition.

Very nice stickpin for a WWI flyer. This could be for a veteran and may date to mid-war period but certainly is pre WWII. Very nice stick pin.

Very nice Russian belt and buckle. Buckle is clean and in good condition. The brocade is lovely and has a real nice toned patina. Two clips for sword or dagger hangers. Some parts of the reverse are age faded a bit more then others but still really a great looking rig.

Very scarce 1930's German communist pin. This was given out at the 1931 Soldaritatstag (Translation is obvious) which I assume was a big communist kumbaya fest. Very rare to find pre-war German communist items as these would likely be a death sentence during the Nazi regime. The IAH was Internationale Arbeiter-Hilfe and was, in fact, abolished in 1933. This was in a small grouping recently found and I don't actually recall seeing any others. Neat.

Beautiful 800 marked stickpin. Award stickpins such as these were authorized for use when the soldier was in civilian clothes. This fine example, marked 800 just below the post on the reverse, is for the aerial gunner badge. Lovely uncleaned look to this scarce item. A touch longer the 6.5cm. Buyer on this one will be happy.

Very nice Wurttemberg Kriegerbund medal. This was for WWI veterans. Very nicely done Wurtemberg state shield on top and ribbon shows solid coloring and reads "Krieger Der. Debringen". The small metal weights are still present at the bottom of the ribbons. So often the ribbon is washed out and the weights are generally long gone. Back plate has manufacturer marks "METALLWARENFABRIK A.D. SCHWERDT STUTTGART". This is a very nice example for one of the smaller states.

The two silver frame pieces have seperated. Could be glued together but I think it is sort of neat being able to see how it all fits together. All parts are in good condition and have a great looking patina. Nice length of original ribbon. Really not a bad piece and a minimal repair would yield a top notch 1914 iron cross.

Interesting miniature award. Mecklenburg Schwerin War Service Cross Second Class in miniature which was the parallel state award of the Iron Cross Second Class. On the obverse FF is Friedrich Franz. On the reverse "Fur Auszeichnung Im Krieg" translates roughly to "For Military Service". Medal and device have a rich gold finish...

Terrific item for both content and condition. This is a soldier's military record book and manual. The soldier was Cpl. Kesaki Ito who was a Machine Gunner in the Imperial Guard 3rd Infantry Regiment, 11th Company. The condition is top notch with crisp, white pages and clean, fresh linen covered booklet. The whole booklet folds up lie a wallet and all tabs and tab sleeves are in perfect shape...

I am not quite an expert on the minutia of accouterments but I believe this German sword or bayonet knot dates from the early 1930's. The condition is top notch; Indeed, with a leather strap it is hard to imagine a better example. The thin leather on this example shows almost no wear and still very solid coloring. There is no excessive bending from being on a handle so may not ever have been used. The reds colored slip knot is likewise in perfect shape as is the blue topped acorn...

Very interesting and very rare item. This is a rare (And obsolete / defunct) badge for employee of Sing Sing prison. I am not sure when numbered badges were put into use there but this would have been shortly thereafter with a low badge number of 171. Really a great look to this badge with an even and pleasant degree of age wear on the front (See photos)...
