What a neat item. This is what basically amounts to a field awarded document for a silver armored assault badge for an SS-Untersturmfuhrer (2nd Lieutenant) Phillip Gresch in the 1 SS Panzer Division Leibstandarte Adolf Hitler. This award was given via Feldpost Im Felde Ost (in the field in the East). Interestingly, the title BESITZZEUGNIS translates to "Ownership Certificate". The holes in the left margin make this look to have been in a soldbuch...

Extremely nice Iron Cross First Class. Pin is hallmarked 18 for the firm Karl Wurster KC, Markneukirchen. Great overall look with just the gentlest of oxidation along the beaded edge and in the corners right where you expect to see it. This is very light and, if anything, I would say adds to the overall appeal. If the back has ever been cleaned it was a very long time ago. I can find nothing negative to say on this fine looking EK1.

Very nice silver grade clasp for Transport and Glider squadrons. Fair amount of silver finish throughout. The back hook is a bit bent. The front is missing the eagle attachment but still looks good as below where that should be is an identical eagle. Has anyone ever figured out why they added an eagle attachment over an identical eagle? At any rate, a cool medal priced accordingly.

Very nice example of a very cool medal. This is the bronze version of the close combat clasp. JFS logo is a bit oxidized as per photo but still obvious. Overall a very good medal.

Any day that I pick up a Gustav Bremer flak badge is a good day. These are notoriously well made and always have nice, crisp detail. This one is in great shape as per photos.

Very cool army panzer officer breast eagle. Aluminum bullion manufacture. Excellent condition on black wool backing. It is sometimes hard to tell the difference between dark green and black on these so in the first photo I show it sitting on top of a dark green. This listing is for just the top eagle. Tunic removed and threading holes can be seen on reverse backing.

Simply lovely Iron Cross First Class. Terrific vaulted example being gently convex (Or concave, depending on which side you look at). This pleasing shape is accompanied by a perfect never-been-cleaned-before patina. The black core has that attractive halo around the beaded silver that turns up from time to time and is only a product of honest aging. The reverse shows a similar patina. The pin assembly and hook work fine. As far as WWI EKI go, in my book this one is a 9.7 out of 10.

This one is just a real treat. 100% undoubtable tunic removed sleeve shield for Ukrainian SS volunteer. Great condition. Folded back as it should be for tunic application. Nice bevo weave with muted colors consistent with use. Ever wonder why there are so many minty examples of a piece of insignia that should be quite rare? Yeah, me too. This one should set your mind at ease. There is even a bit of uniform left on the reverse of the upper right corner...

Wonderfully engraved and age darkened dedication on the pommel of this E Pack dress bayonet. Fur treuer Kameradschaft II Lehrgang basically translates to "In true friendship/comradeship 2nd training Group". "Lehr" indicates a school or training situation. Balde is marked E PACK & SOHNE and is a near perfect example (9.9 out of 10). The frog is also very nice and maker marked CARL HENKEL BELEFELD...

Those of you who follow my listings will know that I don't like to call things "mint" but I will take the plunge on this one. I can't find a thing wrong with this very cool hat that seems to have come out of a time capsule. Wonderful aluminum thread eagle badge. V-shaped sweatband has perfect coloring and is soft and supple. Original tag is inside the top flap and has all the manufacturing and lot information. It is a model 1934 and looks to be dated 1935...
