Very attractive Imperial German beer stein. This fellow's unit is written along the bottom: 6th Bavarian Infantry Regiment Kaiser Wilhelm of Prussia 1st Company Amberg 1910 - 1912. The line on the top of the stein is a slogan that the unit is proud to be named after Kaiser Wilhelm. Below that says the man is infantryman Johann Schiessl...

WWII Imperial Japanese navy dirk. No frills example but a solid piece throughout. This example has plastic fittings. This is not an indication of inferior quality as officers serving at sea might prefer plastic to metal to avoid rust issues. Nice example priced fairly.

Absolutely gorgeous gold wound badge back marked 65 for the firm Klein & Quenzer. The badge itself is about as god as it comes with the front showing a stone cold 100% gold gilt finish. There are a couple of spots on the back where the finish is not absolutely perfect (Sorry) and these are separated by the pin as we would expect from normal rubs. But the back finish is easily better then 90%. Pin assembly is perfect and the 65 is crisp and raised...

Very nice screw back Iron Cross 1st Class. L/52indicates manufacture by Carl Friedrich Zimmermann in Pforzheim. Condition is very nice throughout with pleasant, uncleaned patina. Spike on top arm of cross is meant to keep the medal from spinning on uniform. Good looking medal.

This sword stand was made by a good friend of mine who is half carpenter and half artist. The listed price is for this particular sword stand. Hand crafted of exotic wood, this stand displays a heavy Japanese influence with a frame highly suggestive of Shinto shrine arches and a hinomaru center. This stand was crafted to hold three swords and has a rear fixture for wall mount as well as a folding easel stand for table top display. It stands about 27.5 inches high when tilted on the easel stand...

Very nice set. Nice size two gas mask with lens dated 1939 in great shape with healthy rubber. Cannister is likewise in great shape with three lenses in that compartment. Canister also has an apparently full set of straps including shoulder strap and the belt support hook which is rarely found. Filter has the name Mullner which is different the the name on the mask strap which is illegible due to blotted ink...

Beautiful Mettlach stein that has been engraved as a shooting prize. Engraving looks to read something like "For keepsake of the Prussian King's shooting event August 1 1891 Feldwebel Muller. Feldwebel, of course, is an age old term for the equivalent of a staff sergeant. Stein itself is nicely marked with the Villeroy & Boch Mettalch ink stamp and shows the usual high quality of ceramic work typical of this quality oriented firm...

Gorgeous First Class war merit cross in box. Early quality tombac example with nice finish to front that really catches light and shows itself well. Maker marked 62 which matches the maker name on the case Kerbach & Oesterhelt Dresden A1. Box is generally in very good condition with no damage. The War Merit cross embossed relief on the top is a little smoothed off, otherwise a very nice box. This medal really gives a good idea of what they looked like at the time when glittery and shiny...

Beautifully embroidered pennant or small banner for the 1933 Deutsches Turnfest Stuttgart 1933. 71x11.5cm not icluding metal suspension device. Pennant is very clean and embroidery is strong throughout except for some wear to the oak leaves (see photo). Interesting to see a swaztica on something this early. I believe the handsome horse is the symbol of the city of Stuttgart which is the capital of the state of Baden-W├╝rttemberg in Southern Germany. A very attractive pennant.

Very interesting Antifaschistische Aktion belt buckle. Looks to be made from a heavy, early defaced German belt buckle; Likely either an SA or WWI example. The groups emblem on top is about the size of a penny. On the bottom half of the buckle is the profile bust of what looks like a communist officer. The solder job is old so there is a bit of looseness and a little wiggle to the emblem. The group was forcefully dissolved by the nazis in 1933 but apparantly was revived in the 1980's. Very inter...

This is a very interesting item with a fair amunt of character. The book is titles "Die Wehrmacht Das Buch des Krieges 1940/41". It is a typical German propaganda book with lots of good photos and text and goes into fairly good depth on the war in France, air war against the British, the Balkan campaigns and the invasion of Russia. The book becomes interesting when the cover is opened and we find the book was presented to SS Funker (Radioman) Dietrich Eckern. Basically reading "Dedicated on the ...

Nice army engineer NCO visor cap. Size is 54 and marked on crown. There is some moth nipping mostly on the felt band. This is certainly priced in and is subtle as the colors are dark throughout and next layer doesn't show much at all. Visor remains very nice and shows only some very minor wear. In the corner of the visor there is a touch of glue showing and the sweatband is stuck on at that spot. Apparently there was some minor repair but everything looks fine with no evident damage so I am not ...
