This sword stand was made by a good friend of mine who is half carpenter and half artist. The listed price is for this particular sword stand. Hand crafted of exotic wood, this stand displays a heavy Japanese influence with a frame highly suggestive of Shinto shrine arches and a hinomaru center. This stand was crafted to hold three swords and has a rear fixture for wall mount as well as a folding easel stand for table top display. It stands about 27.5 inches high when tilted on the easel stand...

Very attractive reproduction of the famous Pour le Merite medal. This is the famous German order (Oddly enough with a French name) known as the Blue Max. Nice, thick ribbon made with metallic silver weave on the sides. One light scratch on the reverse of the medal (See last photo). Very nice filler for display purposes.

I am pleased to offer Swords of Imperial Japan 1868-1945 Cyclopedia Edition by Jim Dawson. Even after owning this book for quite a while I am amazed at the detail with which Mr. Dawson attacks the subject in this 448 page monster. Virtually every page is profusely illustrated with over the top photography relating to the highly detailed text. This book is a must for both the beginning and advanced collector...

Lovely hand tooled leather belt and holster sized for a big guy. Both pieces match and display very detailed two tone work. The holster is professional quality with lower ties and top loop for firearm and has smooth lines throughout. Belt has loops for 28 rounds. Belt is marked as being made in Mexico with the numbers 44 45 and 48. I assume that this means it is optimally sized for a 45 but can fit from 44 to 48 and my measurements seem to agree with that...

This is a reproduction Waffen SS overseas cap meant for display, educational or even reenactment use. It is nothing that would fool a knowledgeable collector but not everyone can afford the real thing for display purposes. Cloth shell looks believable with SS bevo skull, a relatively inaccurate SS style eagle and white infantry piping. The inside has a large and elaborate stamp saying something about SS service caps and NSDAP contract information...

Second of two post war signed photographs of Hajo Hermann shown with the Fat Reichsmarshall. Herrmann was an interesting personality on many levels. His main dedication during the war was to fight the allied bombers killing German civilians. His main focus was on British bombers intentionally targeting civilians and cities in night raids...

Terrific set of hard to find Italian special forces camouflage. Camo pattern is San Marco Marine Mediterranean. Trousers are at least size 40. Liner in jacket marked L. Jacket liner buttons in when necessary and from the feel of it must make it quite warm. Dated 1996 but I believe still current. Patches on sleeve and pocket are sterile. Embroidered star to each collar. Great set and hard to find.

On first sight one would think that due to simple physics only a dummy would have a square coffee cup. I found Bill O'Hara online and it is clear that he was no dummy. Bill O'Hara left school early to join the merchant marines in WWII where he served in Europe and the Phillipine Sea. He later joined the U.S. Army and was in the Korean conflict early, being awarded a purple heart for wound in 1950...
