Interesting Wehrpass. Not much filled out byut it appears this fellow, Robert Alois Flassenberg, was witht he recruiting department or Wehrbezicks Kommando. More interestingly, this group was in Hagenau (As seen on the stamps and entries both). This was the town shown in Band of Brothers. This town stayed in German hands until almost the end of the war and wwas featured in one of the later episodes "The Last Patrol"...

Two signed prints featuring Felix Von Luckner. One of the more inspirational figures of WWI, this enterprising captain was a famous commerce raider sailing a three masted ship with hidden engines and armament. He had a knack for being successful while minimizing casualties which made him universally popular. While he is famous as a raider he did also fight in some conventional engagements including the Battle of Jutland...

Collar litzen for panzer officer. Great look and high quality. Reverse shows lines of stitching from tunic removal with many threads remaining. No nips and only the very gentle signs of wear consistent with use. Great looking pair.

This eagle is rare enough it took me over a year to figure out what it was. Worn by French volunteer police acting as security at the U-Boat pens La Pallice. Very rare patch almost impossible to find in condition. This has paper residue on reverse from being in a photo album. There are stitch holes along the perimeter from when it was sewn on a uniform. Great item.

WWII era Japanese photo album. Multiple civilian shots but also 14 military images. The military images are high quality and many of them are portrait types. There are two medicals, one navy, two Imperial Guard officer images in white uniform and multiple enlisted men in full field gear. Really an interesting mix. One photo is loose but could easily be glued back into place beside what must be his wife.

Very nice steel SS belt buckle out of my collection. Excellent detail throughout. Marked RZM 155/40 SS for F. W. Assmann & Söhne of Lüdenscheid. The 40 indicates maufacture in 1940. Nice, rare buckle.

This is a very interesting item. Appears to be a donation schedule for an NSFK forderer. A forderer was a sponsoring member. This was necessary as after the Versailles Treaty Germany was not allowed to have an air force. The NSFK was introduced as a glider society to keep young Germans interested in flight and to encourage the next generation of pilots. This society necessarily relied on donations. The outside of this document has spaces for all of the usual document type information...

This is a piece I have had fun decorating with. Nicely detailed German soldier under a terrific looking eagle standing about 18cm tall. Piece is well cast and even looks good (Nice and deep) in profile and detail to the eagle's feathers continues onto the reverse. Nicely polished with a pleasant smooth texture throughout. I do not know what I would call the metal; While it is black I would think this too light to be iron...

I don't recall ever seeing anything like this before. Mint condition funeral sash with what I assume is the original stiffening on the reverse and possibly part of the original packaging. I would assume it was for a party member and military veteran as it has both the swaz and iron cross. The packaging has signs of writing which are no longer visible. Thin cardboard with wax paper cover. Really an interesting, unique item and certainly puts the "fun" in "funeral".
