Nice army tunic removed breast eagle. Shows nice signs of wear and really has the been-there look. On the eagle's left side is a stain likely of human origin (Not the same kind of stain as Monica's infamous blue dress). Cool insignia with a good story behind it.

WWI USN dog tag. It is on what appears to be the original chain which is, unfortunately broken. Obverse includes name, Frank Brody as well as what I assume are his birthdate and maybe date of entry to the Navy: 9-1-97 and 6-18-18. USNRF was the US Naval Reserve Force. The reverse shows Frank's thumbprint. Nice piece of WWI history.

GIL membership badge. The GIL was the Italian fascist equivalent to the Hitler Youth. This piece is termed a badge but is not too large with a height of 2.5cm. This was to be worn when the member was in civilian clothes. Nice red enamel on the lower half with orange on the top. Condition is perfect. Very well marked on the reverse, including patent information. Interesting pin.

Very nice WWI camouflage M16 helmet. Gentler camo pattern then found on most German helmets but a very nice and very undoubtable overall package. Some paint loss due to age and wear and a rub here and there but a great overall look. The liner is complete with pads except for damage to one of the six tongues tongues (Image 5) and small chips to two others. The manufacturer mark looks like TJ 66 for C. Thiel & Soehne, Luebeck. The last number is hard to make out because of the finish wear at that ...

Nice looking Kriegsmarine flag with signautres and hometowns of the American soldier's friends. 10 names with hometowns all over the United States. Overall condition is decent. There are no holes but their are light stains here and there. It looks like maybe something was spilled on it when it was folded but the stains are relatively light. I did make sure the stains show in the attached images. There is also a spot where a mirror image of some of the names shows as the flag must have been folde...

Very nice set of 16 color prints that would look great framed in the Man Cave. Except for one showing a signals unit hanging communication wire they are all combat related. Tropical to winter, infantry, tanks, artillery, assault boats, flamethrowers, grenades, machine guns etc. Basically anything heer related. The paper is overall crisp and clean but a few have small folded over corners from previous owners being careless when closing the envelope. This is not bad at all even on the worst and wo...

Terrific full tang Samurai arrowhead. Head shows some darkening but no pitting so would polish out quite nicely although it looks fine as is. Full length is 20cm with the head being about 3.4cm. Very thick diamond shaped head would create a wound that would have difficulty healing. I would conservatively put the age at late Edo period but could easily be far older then 19th century. Very nice, hard to find item.

Assmann Luftwaffe belt and buckle set. The buckle has a most of its original finish with slight wear to the edges and raised points (The usual spots). The black leather tab is in great shape and marked with the Assmann & Sohne logo. Below this is the date which is covered by stitching but probably reads 1940. The leather belt is unit marked "Bekl.L-Lg XIII". No idea what this stands for. Under the tab at the hook end is a Frankfurt maker logo and 1938 date (See last photo). The black paint on th...

Very cool SS camo rank insignia. These camouflage rank insignia were meant to be worn on the sleeve of a variety of combat camo uniforms that would not normally show rank insignia. The Waffen SS made great strides in the development of camouflage combat techniques and this is a good example of this development. Nice item.

Interesting set of two Romanian WWII medals. The first is for the anti-communist crusade they were forced to join in 1941. The second is from when the first crusade failed and they were again forced to join the war against Germany. The pair makes for an interesting conversation point.

Very nice bronze infantry assault badge by MK1. Nice rich bronze finish. Maker marked MK1 just under the ball hinge. Bronze badges, of course, were given to panzer grenadiers and motorized infantry thus tending to be with more elite units and were common in the Waffen SS as these units tended to be armor heavy.

Two very nice private, unpublished photos of Luftwaffe General Kurt Student. These must have been taken just after the 1940 western campaigns as he has been awarded the Knights Cross but not yet promoted past Generalmajor. Student was a WWI fighter pilot and by WWII had become the father of the German paratroop forces. Somehow he managed to be shot in the head by some worked LAH soldiers but was able to recover and return to duty in time to be convicted of war crimes for actions against British ...

Gorgeous enamel work on this Westmark party pin for the Alsace Loraine area. Backmarked W. REDO SAARLAUTERN. Good maker making a high quality enamel pin resulting in flawless fish scale red enamel. This level of quality yields a front surface on which one's finger can find no edges between black, white and red fields; Just buttery smooth. Unbeatable example.
