Very interesting Honorable Discharge from the Army of the Confederate States. Condition is rough but I doubt many of these have survived, much less even given out as the Confederacy was never in a good position to just let trained soldiers walk away. The ink is very faded but I know "document guys" do have ways of bringing old, faded ink back to life. It is possible to make out a lot of the details, though...

1932 dated signed postcard of Beniamino Gigli. Gigli was an Italian opera singer who many consider to be one of the very finest tenors in the recorded history of music. Good sized signature is on bottom part of the photograph. This is from the estate of Edward A. Schaeffer, a family friend who passed away a few years ago. Collecting autographs of public figures from all walks of life was, for him, an obsession/addiction that brought him much happiness while he was still with us...

Yes, you read the title correctly. This came from an advanced collection. I am not in a hurry to sell this and mostly listed this to share it with some of my regular customers that I consider friends. The bottom text reads "Spare parts for boiling water pump". I believe this was off of a parts locker or cabinet meant for boiler repair but I guess this could also be for a water pump; Hard to tell with my imperfect grasp of the German language...

RADwj was an organization that used ladies to replace male employees in the civilian work force so that these male employees would then be lucky enough to be sent to the front. I am sure they were very thankful. Female entry into the RADwj was voluntary but this badge was given to those who volunteered for an additional 6 month stint after their first mandatory 6 month tour was over.

Very cool medal for the centennial anniversary of the 7th Regiment National Guard from the State of New York. Good looking medal with minor age wear to the gold finish. This is a big medal and looks to be about 5cm across and rather thick. Measurement is an estimate as it is cased in a shadow box. The shims in the back are numerous and jammed in there really tight so instead of making my fingers bleed I am going to skip on a photograph of the back...

Reproduction roundel from an SS officer's belt buckle. For what it's worth I do think this is an old repro. Correct aluminum material.

Nice, honest example as per photos. Inside is superb, fresh and clean from the leather right down to the wool top padding and the tag nestled under the crown rivet.

Early German kids' sword, somewhere between a kindersabel anda toy. I\When I saw this shopping I just fell in love with the tag. It is just under 5x5 inches at its widest and has a surprising amount of paint left. The maker name Avant-garde is written across the top. Below that is a neat picture of a heavy cavalry soldier brandishing a sword (Just like the attached toy) and charging a firing infantryman in front of a cannon emplacement...

Beautiful example of a classic badge. This example has a simply lovely chocolate patina throughout with original pin on the reverse. This badge was given to those who attended this famous rally in 1933. The importance of this rally was soon recognized and this badge became an officially recognized medal which could be worn on uniform. A must for any serious Third Reich collection.

Well, here's a conversation starter. For whatever reason wealthier families used to be fixated on dressing their kids up in sailor suits. This three piece set came out of Lancaster Pa which has always had a sizable German community. Germans in the early 1930's saw a resurgent Germany and, without seeing the darker side, were proud of being German...

Neat little patriotic flag or banner. About 18x27cm. Mounted on a crimped metal hanger. Great wall hanger as this is a portrait type showing lots of medals.
