This is a very cool piece I am calling a tinnie for lack of better term. For a tinnie it is huge at 2.5 inches in height. With the dates 1814 and 1939 it seems this was for the 125 anniversary of some even for that famous city.Nice gold finish with just a few very tiny rubs. Very pretty item.

Very cool photo of Russian infantry boarding tanks for an assault on German positions. This is an AP press photo with full AP credits. Interesting as caption notes the photo was "radioed from Moscow to New York Dec. 13" of 1942. The caption slip is attached to the photo on the reverse.

Nice miniature version of the Italian War Merit Cross. This one is 1cm wide and 1cm high not including the suspension rings. Instituted in January 1918 and was replaced by decree in 1941. The center reads MERITO DI GVERRA for "War Merit". The top shows the cypher of VEIII for Vittorio Emanuele III. Nice little medal.

This is a very interesting item. Armband for the Japanese army press corps. The markings on the reverse indicate that this was related to the occupying force of the city the Japanese called "Ryujun". This Chinese city is known to us as Port Arthur and to the Chinese as Lushunkou. About 15x30cm. Very unique type item directly related to the occupying force of a historically significant city.

Very nice marked sling for MP38 or MP40 hand held machine guns. Has the appropriate clip for this purpose. Marked "M.P. 38 u 40". The leather is soft and healthy with a light diamond pattern. I find two spots where the vet wrote "MAY" on it but these are not too obvious or disfiguring. Very nice piece and especially good to see one marked as such.

Relatively hard to find summer weight Luftwaffe M43 cap. Outside is very light denim type material and inside is herring bone. I suspect that this originally had a trapezoid but there are a million and one scenarios on how this might have been changed. The eagle and the cockade are real but the cockade does get covered by the strap. The manufacture marks are blurry but it looks like it says size 57. One snag on the inside lining (See photos) and the bill has the usual crack...

Beautiful item and easily the best spange I've ever had. Frosted nickel silver plating is gorgeous throughout and polished to beautiful bright sheen. This piece shimmers like a mirror. Gentle rub wear to areas where one would expect such as top edge, corners of the 1939 bar and the back of the pin (See images). These tiny rub spots are actually sort of reassuring. L/15 should be Otto Schickle. About 45x30mm.

This is a neat little document. Basically it is a supporting member booklet (Direct translation is Alliance partner ID Card). The stamps inside are given after donation is received to show the fellow was a contributing member. Nice that it specifies the group as Landesgruppe XIII Nordbayern., specifically the city of Coburg. Signed inside by the Orts-Kriesgruppenfuhrer. Also a nice, crisp and legible stamping with the same district identified...

Nice gebirgsjager officer's edelweiss cap badge. Some oxidation to reverse. Pin assembly still works fine. Nice example.

Nice 2nd model Luftwaffe dagger by Robert Klaas. Only real minus is some minor plating damage shown in images 2 and 3. Also some signs of a gentle cleaning but this is very common and not a big deal. Handle is a gorgeous pumpkin orange with no chipping. Nice, honest dagger by a desirable maker.

Nice RZM 36/42 SS Belt Buckle. Shows moderate wear but really in strong condition with the wear showing in the usual rub spots. Markings do have wear and it may not show in attached images but the three does have the proper downward hook at the top. Nice, original, hard to find buckle.

Very nice bronze non-portable medal or medallion for WWI Victory. The front shows a brave Doughboy charging across a battlefield littered with barbed wire and a shell going off behind him. In the distance are manned trenches and defensive obstacles. The reverse reads "1917 FRANCE 1918" which represents the years of American involvement. Below is a map showing battlefields including Argonne, Verdun etc. Made by M. Lordonnois 1919. Very nice item.

Very nice dress bayonet by Eickhorn. This wood grip variation is fairly scarce and were meant to simulate stag horn grips. Overall it is an interesting look. The grips are in great shape and the only condition issue I find is some very minor freckling on an otherwise beautiful, mirror bright blade. This freckling is subtle enough it was difficult to even capture in photograph but after trying repeatedly I did get some images where it shows...

Interesting pair of tinted mountain troop goggles. These are from a surplus lot I recently acquired so I do have flexibility on multiples. I am told they are Italian but I can not verify this. Goggles come with a light metal case and fold up into a small package. Discount on multiple orders.
