Nice political collar tab for the rank of Kreis Hauptgemeinschaftsleiter. The tab looks great from the front showing gentle age wear. The lightly toned white piping and the gold striping are nicely applied. The brown velvet is is soft and smooth. The reverse shows a very well made collar tab with all proper material and construction. The only problem I find is that the posts for the eagle's left week and the swaz are broken off. This is only noticeable due to the hole in the buckram backing that...

Superb single collar tab for the rank of Kreis Bereichsleiter. This is obviously a very high rank and a hard tab to find. Condition is perfect with no damage or excess wear. The white piping is clean and crisp, the brown velvet is soft and smooth and the buckram backing is undamaged except where the devices necessarily poke through. The posts for the eagle and the oak leaves are very nicely sunk in. Top notch example.

Top notch signed photograph of Nicolae Ceaucescu from the collection of Hirsch Cohen. Hirsch Cohen is well known as having been a titan in the autograph collecting hobby. Ceausescu is a hard autograph to find as he was suddenly executed while in office after a military coup in 1989. Making this probably the best Ceausescu signature one could find is the fact that it includes the envelope from Romania and the letter addressed to Hirsch Cohen regarding the signature. All well framed in communist r...

Interesting ID not very commonly found. This is ID card for an air raid warden. The town is Bruchhausen on the western side of Germany. In 2011 it had a population of under 1000. Issued in January of 1943 which is probably about when air raid wardens really became necessary. These were important people in the civil community during war time and even had special plaques to put on their front doors so they could be found easily. The plaques are far more common then the ID and this would be probabl...

Wehrpass and Arbeitsbuch for Kriegsmarine man. I am not great at reading these but it looks like his military service started in Augsburg in September 1937. Before and after this he worked for Keller & Knappich in Augsburg. This company, know as KUKA, is still active and makes industrial robotics. They are listed at the time as "maschinenfabrik" so he was probably involved in manufacturing of naval hardware during the war. Included is his release form from this company in 1955. It seems he found...

Very nice photo of an assault gun crew member. Excellent condition and measuring 8x5.6cm, looks like it is probably intended as an ID photo. He does have an Eastern Front ribbon so he most certainly was in the middle of it. Good photo, wish I had the jacket.

Super nice 50 year veterans standard bearer gorget. Nice, original condition with full length chain. I don't clean or fix anything so a quick polish on the front might make this look even nicer but it is a screamer as it is. Unit or group engraving looks to be "Woltmersh. Wehr. u. Kr. - Kameradschaft e.V" which looks a lot better on the gorget then in computer type. I see no damage to the enamel past normal age toning. A scrap of fabric has been added to the reverse; Probably a period addition t...

Very nice pair of headphones with throat mics. The throat microphone was a German innovation that allowed for communication between tanks that would not be drowned out by vehicle noise. Such communication gave early German armored formations a significant tactical advantage. the Dfh.b model is the type that was used on armored vehicles. Nice, complete set with leather intact over the bands and rubber still nice and soft on the ear pieces.

Two cool equipment plates for a German vehicle. The larger says something about draining before removing the nut and was apparantly glued in place as there are no corner holes and glue residue on the reverse. the second translates to Transmission with maker code and serial numbers. I can not find the code fdp in any of my reference books and online searches tend to bring up a million returns for "free democratic party". This one was nailed into place. Two of the dome heads remain, one with a pos...

Very cool sleeve patch or trade badge for German chemical weapons. Chemical weapons are not thought to have been used in Europe during the war so this is not a very common patch. GU in Gothic script on feldgrau backing. Excellent condition.

Interesting, creepy item. WWII German gas mask in box with instruction sheet. The box is rumpled but all there. Embossed on top with product information. Four page instruction sheet has very minor chipping to bottom edge. Gas mask itself looks to have never been out of the box. Rubber is supple with no dry rotting; Just a bit dusty since I don't clean anything except my kitchen. There is writing on the eye lens but since it is backwards I can't really make it out. The canister is tucked inside a...

Very cool and very rare patch This is the sleeve patch or arm badge as worn by women in the Nachrichtenhelferinnen des Heeres (Army signals). With the number designation this was probably intended for some HQ unit. Unissued. Very hard piece of insignia to find.

Very cool, large size obsolete military police badge. If that weren't cool enough it is a Marine Corps badge from Camp Lejeune. I would guess this was Vietnam vintage. Excellent condition as per photos. Preat piece.

This medal couldn't be any cooler. This is a Brigade Commander (Most certainly a general) medal from the UCV (United Confederate Veterans) 1937 reunion in Jackson Mississippi. Confederate veteran medals are rare and cool enough as it is but honestly, how many COnfederate generals were still on this side of the clouds in 1937? Yes, the ribbon is obviously well worn but this is just such a neat medal.

Extremely rare Spanish Cross Next of Kin medal as awarded to family of those German Condor Legion "Volunteers" killed in that conflict. Records show that 315 were awarded which is about half the number of Knights Crosses with Oak Leaves awarded. This came out of an advanced collection in Wilmington DE and it looks like even the ribbon is correct. The eagles are all (Correctly) separately affixed. This would be much more expensive on other sites. Really a centerpiece quality medal for most any co...

Way cool gold eagle for luftwaffe general's summer tunic. Very strong gold finish with very light wear to the front. Reverse shows gentle patination. Pin is a little bit bent but I see that as a non-issue. The final image is interesting as it shows the border of where the gold finish was applied and not applied. Just a really neat item.

Hard to find NSKOV gorget. This is from a solid, old collection and absolutely guaranteed not to be one of the Eastern European things coming onto the market recently. Some age wear to the front as per photos. Rivets and face plate are in solidly in place. Full length chain in perfect shape. Backing is in great shape with two tiny nips as per final photo. These are more often then not really chewed up in back. Very nice, very honest piece.

This is just a neat item. Cigar Box by Otto Boenicke featuring Reichsmarschall Hermann Goering. The inside lid features a very flattering rendition of Goering and the trim of the box, both inside and out features alternating laurel leaves and field marshal batons. On the right side of the box is an interesting 20 rpf (Reichspfenig) tax stamp with a nice embossed eagle. Inside are a good number of cigars which I unfortunately can not add to internet sale as I can not be assured of the age of buye...
