Nice Afrika Korps photo album. While there are no "over-the-top" photos it is a decent album. Some luftwaffe guys in pith helmets, a couple of motorcycle shots, One page of what looks like it may be a port attack, and a lot of desert shots. It follows a definite chronological order starting out in Germany, then onto the transport boats and then most of the album is in the deserts of North Africa. A very respectable album and as we all know DAK albums like this are extremely rare.

Nice 2nd model luftwaffe dagger by Tiger. Blade rates excellent with no real damage to speak of. Nicely aged and undamaged handle with nice fittings. Knot shows some thread ware near the stem . The hanger is a deluxe type and is profusely decorated with oakleaves. These are a nice, sturdy set and all three clips are backmarked DRGM. Just a bit of wear on the edge of the straps from period usage...

Nice example of a Prussian enlisted pickelhaube spiked helmet. All original parts. The red, white and black cockade looks to have been repainted. There is a tear in the liner (See 3rd and 4th photos) and two tongues have torn where the tie string goes through. The plate has two extra holes which is odd because it is doubtful this was "upgraded" to a Prussian EM. The rear spine prongs are gone but it is firmly in place, being held by the back screw and pressure from the spike assembly...

Very attractive Panel engraved sword for the 11th Hessian Train Battalion. Nice, clean engraving to both sides. Blade is excellent with just a tiny bit of "chatter" on one area of the edge that can hardly be seen and must be felt with a finger. Two tiny spots of plating towards the tip. These are very small and don't detract much from a very pretty blade. Early WKC mark with the king's head and knight's head. Fish skin on handle is undamaged and leather fingerloop is present and strong...

This document is an affidavit stating that this soldier served in the Continental Army during the revolution. Basically it states that John Pratt of Dublin, county of Cheshire in New Hampshire served in the last three years of the war. It is signed by what looks like Joseph Atherton. After the signature this fellow states that at the time of enlistment Pratt lived in another town but I can't quite make it out...

Nice police long service medal with ribbon folded into parade mount. The embroidered eagle actually looks to be on a separate piece of ribbon, separately wrapped around a second piece of backing. Very interesting piece.

Let's face it; These sew on/tunic removed pieces are just cool. Nice officer set with no damage except for where shoulder boards were removed. Set matches in both rank and age wear and look real nice together. Rank is Oberleutenant. These have a general good look right down to the impression on the shoulder boards where the button pushed down for a long time. Priced fairly.
