Very nice matching set of German field flatware. All pieces are matching marked GK&F with eagle and swaz. The spoon fork and can opener are all dated 1942. The knife is dated 1941 but since I am sure they didn't make every piece on the same day I have no problem calling this a matched set. Condition is excellent and all 4 pieces fit together perfectly. Most sets seem to be mixed and matched like maybe even the soldiers at the time weren't concerned with keeping them straight...

Very attractive dress bayonet with brown leather frog indicative of Luftwaffe personnel. The Eickhorn marked bayonet is in great shape with no particular damage to speak of. The blade shows only 3 little spots along the edge on one side (See photos), otherwise clean and mirror bright. The handle fittings are all equally clean and the plug remains in the slot. This green plug is a scarcer variety. The brown frog is a winner with nice, healthy leather. Nice backmarking JOSEPH MOLL GOCH 1937...

Very nice late war M42 steel combat helmet. Skirt is marked in rear Hkp64 with lot number 4327. hkp is the code that Sachsishe Emaillerwerke, Lauter switched to in 1943 (Former code SE). Original finish is in very good shape throughout (See photos); Very nice on the outside, extremely nice and buttery smooth on the inside. Pigskin liner has a faded 59 size stamp on the outside. Most interestingly, though, it is stamped on the inside in large letters B 58II 44...

Very nice M39 army panzer EM/NCO breast eagle. There is a fold crease but this is obviously something that can flatten right out. Nice item.

Very nice steel belt buckle. Maker marked GHO in an inverted triangle which represents the maker Osang. Typical age wear but no real damage. Nice, honest belt buckle.

Nice looking NSKK sleeve eagle. RZM tag remains but in obviously worn condition (See photo). There are a few thread loops remaining from when this was sewn on a tunic. Nice patch with a good degree of character.

ET68 double decal combat police helmet made for a fellow with a large cranium. It actually swallows up my poor dummy head in the photos. Nice looking helmet with fair amount of honest wear but still looking good. Photos show details well. Size 68 was, I believe, the largest size made by any company.

Very rare Bahnschutz bayonet (Railway protection police) and troddel. Marked Bz.15.B.153. I believe that the "15" makes this from the Koln district. The blade is easily near mint. The wood on the handle has the usual, but very minor and few, pings and dings that such soft wood accumulates over the decades but is very healthy so that even the original wood striping is very evident...

Interesting tunic. There is are no tears or moth nips that I find. What is odd is that it seems there was at one time NCO tress that was removed. Perhaps the poor fellow was demoted for some transgression? There are signs of this on the cuffs and the shoulder boards. It also seems that the bottom fabric on the wearer's left was pulled off and restitched, oddly supporting the thought that this fellow's NCO tress was quite literally ripped off. Certainly some sort of story there...

Decent 2nd model Luftwaffe dagger. Blade marked SMF and waffenamt. The handle is beautiful with undamaged orange grip with perfect wire wrap. The fittings are lovely, clean examples of early high quality work. The scabbard is likewise in great shape. The blade is spotted and the edge has some wear mostly detectable by running a finger over it. OK blade but gorgeous everything else.

Nice, hard to find badge. Aluminum manufacture observer badge by GWL or Gebruder Wegerhoff Ludenscheid. Besides normal age wear there is subtle hit the eagle's right wingtip and, a little below this, is a hit to the edge of the wreath (This is small and on the back side of the wreath only). These two points are not bad at all and quite excusable on a scarcer badge.

Very nicely rendered inkwell in the form of a Prussian pickelhaube. As a bonus there is a sword going through the helmet as well. Fittings are all complete with good detail. Even the chinstrap is real leather. Inside the well itself is a thimble (Which comes out easily enough if need be) which is useful in reducing the size of the well for smaller amounts of ink...

Very interesting Italian mountain troop cap from the 8th Alpini regiment. As is often the case with Italian insignia, the gold bullion eagle is just a beautiful example. There is one snag to bullion that could easily be glued or tucked in. The 8th Alpini Feltre Battalion enamel pin on the side is a great item and of some solid value on its own. Because this cap is so well made it has a high wool content which unfortunately makes it a favored target of moths. There are two spots of nips (Shown in...

Very cool item. Zeltbahns are easily the cheapest way to get real examples of SS camouflage. This example has a small tear at the center hole (Photos 2 3 and 4) and a couple of other nips about an inch long (Last photo). Basically a solid example of a coo item. Reversible to fall and winter colors.
