Very nice steel SS belt buckle out of my collection. Excellent detail throughout. Marked RZM 155/40 SS for F. W. Assmann & Söhne of Lüdenscheid. The 40 indicates maufacture in 1940. Nice, rare buckle.

This is a very interesting item. Appears to be a donation schedule for an NSFK forderer. A forderer was a sponsoring member. This was necessary as after the Versailles Treaty Germany was not allowed to have an air force. The NSFK was introduced as a glider society to keep young Germans interested in flight and to encourage the next generation of pilots. This society necessarily relied on donations. The outside of this document has spaces for all of the usual document type information...

I don't recall ever seeing anything like this before. Mint condition funeral sash with what I assume is the original stiffening on the reverse and possibly part of the original packaging. I would assume it was for a party member and military veteran as it has both the swaz and iron cross. The packaging has signs of writing which are no longer visible. Thin cardboard with wax paper cover. Really an interesting, unique item and certainly puts the "fun" in "funeral".

Nice quality leather holster for the German grenade launcher. Generally in good condition with original sling and internal leather dividers. The leather tongues at the top sides are a little floppy but are still there and undamaged. Certainly a nice example.

One of the main reasons that German forces had such an advantage early in the war was the advancement of their field communications. Their use of throat microphones for panzer troops is legendary. Right up that same alley is this impressive telephone switchboard. This very interesting piece of equipment brings great flexibility to the command center of a battlefield as it is now possible to utilize up to 10 phone lines right up at the front lines...

Nice Luftwaffe DD. The eagle side, unfortunately, has a mostly rubbed out decal with a few parts and the general shape still visible. The tri-color side is a terrific looking decal with a cool crackle pattern to the crazing. The shell overall has a nice original finish with pleasant signs of age wear (Greatly exaggerated in my photos because I use a heavy flash for my photography). Maker and size marked SE64 for Sachsishe Emaillerwerke, Lauter...

Extremely nice Iron Cross First Class. Pin is hallmarked 18 for the firm Karl Wurster KC, Markneukirchen. Great overall look with just the gentlest of oxidation along the beaded edge and in the corners right where you expect to see it. This is very light and, if anything, I would say adds to the overall appeal. If the back has ever been cleaned it was a very long time ago. I can find nothing negative to say on this fine looking EK1.

Nice cuff title (Or cufftitle) as worn by land customs official. Shows usage wear as per photos. Some threads remaining from when it was sewn on a uniform. Well made with both top and bottom trim and the eagle made from a rich silver aluminum wire. Light wear to the top and bottom wire trim but still an attractive cufftitle with a great look if you like used and tunic removed items.

This is not my area of expertise. This Russian navy belt does look to have some age but I am unable to date it. It is lovely brocade so should be a welcome addition to a collection.

Really, really nice transitional helmet. I am calling it a double decal as it was issued as such. Most likely the national tri-color shield was removed when regulations dicated this to be done. It was a smooth even job done without damaging the helmet but traces of this decal do remain quite clearly (See photos). The Wehrmacht eagle decal to the left is in great shape. The finish is very strong throughout but as most 70+ year old hlmets are, there is some wear to the finish...

These are neat tinnies from a series that replicated miniature plastic versions of HJ equipment. Looks like the original string. Nice item.

Very interesting piece of trench art with a very unfortunate antisemitic carving. The front shows three caricatures. The first is the typical propaganda driven version of a Jewish man scheming with a vulture. To the right of that pair is a donkey reading a newspaper (maybe the Huffington Post?) and a capitalist pig complete with tuxedo, cigar and lapel flower. The reverse side has the date May 13, 1943...

Very nice pair of leather shin guards for horseback riding. These are typical of the type that Japanese officer's would wear and sure enough, each piece has written inside "Second Lieutenant of Infantry Nishimura Katsujiro in very nice, clear writing. Named gear is always fun and these would look superb with an appropriate uniform. Condition is terrific throughout with only the mildest signs of age and use. Straps and buckles are all present and leather is soft, supple and nicely toned...

Very nice Russian belt and buckle. Buckle is clean and in good condition. The brocade is lovely and has a real nice toned patina. Two clips for sword or dagger hangers. Some parts of the reverse are age faded a bit more then others but still really a great looking rig.

Attractive DDAC pennant. DDAC, or "Der Deutsche Automobil-Club" was the Third Reich automobile club. This is an honest, untinkered with example. One slight rub on the spine and just a trace of fraying at the tip. Nicely stitch reinforced throughout border with an extra line at the tip. Red and black coloring is strong. As one might imagine on a used vehcale pennant, the white areas are not so bright and any soiling is exaggerated, but this is an overall very attractive pennant and in quite good ...

Very nice Wurttemberg Kriegerbund medal. This was for WWI veterans. Very nicely done Wurtemberg state shield on top and ribbon shows solid coloring and reads "Krieger Der. Debringen". The small metal weights are still present at the bottom of the ribbons. So often the ribbon is washed out and the weights are generally long gone. Back plate has manufacturer marks "METALLWARENFABRIK A.D. SCHWERDT STUTTGART". This is a very nice example for one of the smaller states.
