Very nice Preussischer Kriegerverband medal with the 25 year device. This device is the scarcer version with the red enamel Prussian crown rather then the usual example showing the veteran memorial. All is in great shape with no damage found. While wuite affordable I always did like these medals as they show a very good looking eagle. This maker has used a raised eagle that looks especially good. I tried to take a side view photo to show this...

Very nice cap talley for the K-Klasse cruiser Karlsruhe. Kriegsmarine crew members of ships were authorized to wear such tallies on their Donald Duck hats to identify the ship they were assigned to. In 1938 these were withdrawn in anticipation of mobilization and all members were then to wear the generic "Kriegsmarine" talley except for some naval schools. Condition on this talley is superb with perfect machine woven gilt thread with no snags or "washing out"...

Very nice quality private purchase artillery officer visor cap by Pekuros. Typical of this maufacturer the fabric is a higher quality then normal and the difference can easily be felt. Eagle insignia is nicely rounded and "melted" in. Bullion wreath insignia is a gorgeous example...

Der Stahlhelm was the largest of the WWI veteran groups. Originally it was designed to help WWI veterans reintegrate to normal life. It took on more of an active militaristic role as it absorbed some of the many armed freikorps and as the often violent power struggles increased within Germany. By 1933 most of its membership was transferred to the SA and by 1935 Der Stahlhelm ceased to exist. Nice stickpin with pleasant aging marked N&H GES GESCH.

Brass two piece stamped other ranks buckle with nicely detailed Wurttemberg crest. The front of the buckle looks great but sadly on the reverse the attachment prongs are missing. Otherwise a very desirable buckle.

Very nice matching set of German field flatware. All pieces are matching marked GK&F with eagle and swaz. The spoon fork and can opener are all dated 1942. The knife is dated 1941 but since I am sure they didn't make every piece on the same day I have no problem calling this a matched set. Condition is excellent and all 4 pieces fit together perfectly. Most sets seem to be mixed and matched like maybe even the soldiers at the time weren't concerned with keeping them straight...

Very attractive dress bayonet with brown leather frog indicative of Luftwaffe personnel. The Eickhorn marked bayonet is in great shape with no particular damage to speak of. The blade shows only 3 little spots along the edge on one side (See photos), otherwise clean and mirror bright. The handle fittings are all equally clean and the plug remains in the slot. This green plug is a scarcer variety. The brown frog is a winner with nice, healthy leather. Nice backmarking JOSEPH MOLL GOCH 1937...

Very nice M39 army panzer EM/NCO breast eagle. There is a fold crease but this is obviously something that can flatten right out. Nice item.

Nice looking NSKK sleeve eagle. RZM tag remains but in obviously worn condition (See photo). There are a few thread loops remaining from when this was sewn on a tunic. Nice patch with a good degree of character.

ET68 double decal combat police helmet made for a fellow with a large cranium. It actually swallows up my poor dummy head in the photos. Nice looking helmet with fair amount of honest wear but still looking good. Photos show details well. Size 68 was, I believe, the largest size made by any company.

Very nicely rendered inkwell in the form of a Prussian pickelhaube. As a bonus there is a sword going through the helmet as well. Fittings are all complete with good detail. Even the chinstrap is real leather. Inside the well itself is a thimble (Which comes out easily enough if need be) which is useful in reducing the size of the well for smaller amounts of ink...

Nice army engineer NCO visor cap. Size is 54 and marked on crown. There is some moth nipping mostly on the felt band. This is certainly priced in and is subtle as the colors are dark throughout and next layer doesn't show much at all...

Very interesting Italian mountain troop cap from the 8th Alpini regiment. As is often the case with Italian insignia, the gold bullion eagle is just a beautiful example. There is one snag to bullion that could easily be glued or tucked in. The 8th Alpini Feltre Battalion enamel pin on the side is a great item and of some solid value on its own. Because this cap is so well made it has a high wool content which unfortunately makes it a favored target of moths. There are two spots of nips (Shown in...

Lovely French naval artillery shorts sword which saw service from about 1771 to 1790, a span which perfectly brackets the American Revolutionary War. This exact sword is featured in George C Neumann'a important Swords & Blades of the American Revolution. I have the Third Edition from 1991 and find it on page 189. As the French both supplied troops and also equipped many of the American units it is very likely that this saw service in that war and, as it recently came out of a house in Pennsylvan...

The Spanish Blue Division represented the Spanish military contribution to the German effort in WWII. For Franco's part it was a way to get the hotheads out of town. For the soldier's part, the Blue Division represented a solid group of anticommunist believers. As a result, the Blue Division is widely accepted to have fought like tigers and was certainly one of the more effective volunteer "legions" in the German war effort and are generally accepted as being an elite unit. This wonderful little...

Excellent condition Horst Wessel collar tab. Machine embroidered with buckram backing. This Panzer Grenadier Division was named after an SA street fighter killed by communists and became a hero martyr for the anti-Communist movement. It was intended that the personnel for this division would be largely SA members but as it turned out it was mostly Hungarian volunteers.
