Very interesting medal. I believe this was issued to show defiance to the League of Nations Sanctions probably put in place to protest Italy's campaigns in Africa. Date on medal is November 18 1935 with Mussolini's profile (Of course). This is kind of how I feel toward the UN. Not a large medal; Just a bit wider then a quarter.

Excellent condition liner band for WWII German helmet. Dated 1943. Maker marked B & C LITZMANNSTADT . Complete down to the rings for the chin strap. Nice item but since I have a "don't fix" rule I guess this will never do me any real good so I will pass it on to the next guy.

Very attractive framed photograph. Shows 12 men in full uniform. Caption attributes these gentleman to the 4th Battery of the 5th Field Artillery Regiment , Landau 1908. Even if discharged, fellows like this with heavy equipment experience were invariably called back to serve in WWI. No damage to the photograph (Please excuse the light reflection in my images). Frame shows evidence of light wear but is still very nice. Something is written on the back in pencil but I can't make it out. 44x38 cm ...

Nicely detailed luftwaffe banner painte on a light masonite type material. I have seen these before (Examples of various flags/standards) but not sure exactly what they were used for. One explanation I have heard is that they were used as seat markers at higher level meetings between service branches. In this case it would tell the representative from the Luftwaffe intelligence service where at the table he would be seated. The material is light so they are almost always a bit damaged. This one ...

Nice example of a Prussian enlisted pickelhaube spiked helmet. All original parts. The red, white and black cockade looks to have been repainted. There is a tear in the liner (See 3rd and 4th photos) and two tongues have torn where the tie string goes through. The plate has two extra holes which is odd because it is doubtful this was "upgraded" to a Prussian EM. The rear spine prongs are gone but it is firmly in place, being held by the back screw and pressure from the spike assembly. There is a...

This document is an affidavit stating that this soldier served in the Continental Army during the revolution. Basically it states that John Pratt of Dublin, county of Cheshire in New Hampshire served in the last three years of the war. It is signed by what looks like Joseph Atherton. After the signature this fellow states that at the time of enlistment Pratt lived in another town but I can't quite make it out. Very cool document and it is always nice finding something related to the Revolutionar...

Let's face it; These sew on/tunic removed pieces are just cool. Nice officer set with no damage except for where shoulder boards were removed. Set matches in both rank and age wear and look real nice together. Rank is Oberleutenant. These have a general good look right down to the impression on the shoulder boards where the button pushed down for a long time. Priced fairly.

E.P.&S. ground Rohm dagger. This one was obviously done by the owner himself. The dedication is only lightly rubbed out with a lot of lettering left. The name is completely gone with hash marks showing where it was done. This area goes right down to the top of the E Pack logo. Blade does show greying and the usual in/out runner marks. Anodized scabbard has a light ding but generally in good shape with another light ding to the ball. All in all a nice piece.

Neat award. Front shows a well done eagle. Rear reads FUR: BESONDERE LEISTUNG - DER OBERBEFEHLSHABER VON KAYSER GENERAL DER KAV . This reads as : Performance Award - The Supreme Commander Von Kayser General of Cavalry. It appears the Von Kayser was indeed in charge of mounted troops at some point before the war. Nice medal with a good amount of gold finish remaining.

Very scarce item. Dutch NSKK volunteer Badge of Honor. These were only awarded in two separate ceremonies. Among recipients were something like 40 Dutch NSKK drivers attached to 6th Army that were pulled out of Stalingrad pocket. A few have recently turned up near Berlin but as they are dug they are in relic condition and mostly broken. Word on top of badge "TROUW" translates to loyalty or honor. As this was for NSKK, outher portion of badge is a tire inside of which is the Wolf's Angle (Dutch S...

Terrific knot here. Could be for a sword but I suspect it is for a fire police bayonet but probably for a higher individual. These straps are normally silver and red wire woven into leather but this one is gold colored wire woven onto lightly striped black fabric. Silver acorn is nicely age toned with the tip showing alternating red, grey and silver twisted wire threads. Super quality example of a very scarce pattern.

Very cool Hitler Youth badge commemorating 10 years of the Munich Hitler Youth 1923 - 1933. Cool Eagle over Feldherrenhalle . Around the eagle is the motto UND ICH HABT DOCH GESIECT! Which translates something like "And after all this you have triumphed". Backmarked H WITTMANN MUNCHEN

Very tastefully done sterling silver Bezique card set, probably from second quarter of 20th century. Case is done with very detailed repousse work featuring a multitude of cherubs with a floral swag pattern. Top of box is monogrammed "SSA". Hallmark on base of box is unknown (to us.) Top and side compartments are purple lined and include four sets of cards; Two have the same SSA initials and there are two that have U.S. IRS import stamps for playing cards (one is detached from the pack). Other i...

This luger came with a lot of police items so I am assuming it is a police holster. Conditionwise it is not a cherry but it has not ever been messed around with. Some minor loose stitching and wear spots but everything is strong and not close to giving out. Generally nice condition. Maker marked J.M.ECKAT U&M under the lid and a few areas have different numbers. Nice, honest piece.
