Very neat lot of toy soldiers made by Auburn Rubber of Indiana. Because rubber does dry with age these are basically always cracked and have some damage. That being said these are rather uncommon. This lot includes 5 soldiers. The prize of the bunch is the motorcycle soldier which shows the unavoidable age cracks but no broken pieces and the wheels spin properly. This piece is balanced so it does stand freely. Also included: One officer with detached head. One soldier advancing with rifle...

Very interesting Horster officer sword. Made for a Dutch officer as "Eisenhower" has become the Dutch form YZERHOUWER. In either language it is a reference to the highest quality of steel being used. The blade on this example has no negatives I can find. Mirror bright throughout with no greying or oxidation. The Horster logo is beneath the langet. The scabbard has no dents and only minimal pain loss and crazing (See photos). The unfixed ring dates this either Weimar or Third Reich period...

Hitler Youth document from March of 1943. This certificate basically amounts to a certified pledge of allegiance. Just like the army's pledge, the problem here is that the youth is not pledging allegiance to his/her country but to the person of Adolf Hitler. Obviously this caused all kinds of trouble when The Fuhrer turned out to be more then a little bit problematic...

Lovely German antler rack with Black Forest style wood mount. This rack is on the small side and oddly shaped. I know misshapen antlers such as this do have a niche collector base. The mount is a pressed wood particle composite that was just begginning to be used for this purpose in the 1920's. This one has a sticker on the back that is mostly rubbed off and illegible. I have another rack that is the same style and the sticker is legible on that one (See last photo on this listing)...

Very nice mounted antler rack. This is a nice set of antlers typical to German deer. This is actually a rather good size pair measuring 8 inches from base of antler to the tip. The tag on the back indicates that the wood mount was made in Austria. Interestingly it specifically mentions Osterreich which was the name used for Austria from the beginning of German occupation to the end of WWII in 1945. This is helpful as it pinpoints the exact age of this set of antlers to 1945 at the latest...

Here is a good one for you guys that appreciate the good things. 100% undoubtable tunic removed sleeve shield for Georgian SS volunteer. Great condition. Folded back as it should be for tunic application. Nice bevo weave with muted colors consistent with use. Ever wonder why there are so many minty examples of a piece of insignia that should be quite rare? Yep, me too. This one should set your mind at ease. I am also listing a Ukrainian tunic removed shield as well.

Perfectly respectable fire police dagger. Scarcer, short version. Blade is nice but has some dried grease that could easily clean off for the next guy. Undented scabbard does show some wear but original paint remains largely intact. Reasonable example priced to sell.

Double decal Luftwaffe helmet. Outside shows fair amount of good, honest wear. Wear is mostly on top where front line soldiers would sit on it in the field. While this is a well worn helmet there is something good to be said about decals that are so very obviously righteous. These are melted in just right, match wear spots that connect with them and have a real pleasing crackle pattern...

Very cool grouping including a USMC Mameluke engraved to Charles Lee Morrow and three wall plaques for excellent service in Vietnam. Interestingly, although the plaques show some wear (See photos) they are each from a different Marine Corps division, the 1st, 3rd and 7th. The rank given on two of the plaques is Captain and each is engraved again with his name. The 1st Division plaque specifies service in Vietnam 1968-1969. The plaque from the 7th Division is the most interesting and reads "PRESE...

Very interesting WWII era German enamel pin. Motto translates to something like "The power is with the people". I haven't been able to find a similar pin anywhere but this sounds like a workers' slogan so maybe something from DAF? It is interesting that it is numbered on the enamel section. Possibly a pin commissioned by a Factory #48 for their emplyees which would explain scarcity. The pin is attached at an angle and covers the first part of "GES GESCH" and the latter part of the maker name (Se...

Very nice Italian Order of the Crown. This is the neck order in gold and is a very attractive medal overall. There is one spot of very minor chipping to the enamel on the front right arm. This is not very noticeable and detracts very little. Terrific overall enamel work with inset stones. This order was instituted at the end of the 19th century. This example is consistent with WWII era. Lovely medal.
