Gorgeous WWII Italian medal for the 11th Army dated Novemeber 16, 1940. Front has perfect black enamel with the date and maker mark on the rear. Made by C Mori. Attractive medal.
Reasonsble example of a double decal luftwaffe helmet. Shell looks to have an obviously old overcoat with normal age wear. Area around decals shows original grey paint. Decals show typical wear. Inside shell is marked SE62 on the side and lot number 4432 on rear skirt.Chin strap is broken with remnants on each side including buckle and both clips. Liner shows honest age wear wiht only one small area of missing material (See pics). None of the tongues are torn through at the cord hole. Not a perf...
Personalized copy of the WWI dated machine gun manual. Front cover has the handwritten info "Co C 1st Tank Cadre A.E.F.". The word "cadre" is a guess as this is illegible. A.E.F. is "Allied Expedtionary Force". The cover shows superficial wear but is surprisingly strong and sharp. The pages inside are also crisp and clean and show 288 pages of text, photographs, charts and diagrams. Very nice, very early item relating to both WWI tanks and machine guns.
Slightly damaged and priced accordingly. Nice, rare patch for seaborn troops. Similar to our Marines, Japanese seaborn troops were used as shock troops. Tear near left wing tip measures just under 2cm. Otherwise nice condition with some light wear to central star and anchor. Also have listed an undamaged example fairly priced. Nice, rare patch.
Excellent example insignia for WWII Japanese seaborn troops. As with our Marines, seaborn troops were often use as high power shock troops. Very nice patch. Some very minor wear to central star and anchor.
Nice looking medal for 1914-1920 WWI participation. Attractive medal is blackened bronze and shows crossed army and navy Japanese flags. Above is the kiku man. Below is a wreath of pawlonia leaves. The bar reads "War Medal". Box is included.
An interesting medal that I have no clue on. Shows a fist gut punching a fish and knocking its crown off. In the background it looks like two faucets are running water. Bottom of obverse reds "publico consilio pro re in catiera gesta"; something about public deeds for the king. Maker mark looks like gz. The Roman numerals MCMXXXIII translates to 1933. If you know what this is please do let me know.
Large Russian badge for petroleum police. Big and heavy enough I moght think this was for a car. Very ineresting, well made item.
Attractive bronze medal for the unification of Italy. Obverse shows profile of King Vittorio Emanuele III. Reverse has a spot of greenoxidation that looks like it should come off if worked on. Some mild fading to the ribbon which is an original. Priced accordingly.
Excellent NSKK cap eagle. Nicely toned silver thread over black for Motor Brigade Westfalen Motor Gruppe Neiderhein. Very nice patch.
Nice shoulder strap for SA brown shirt. These were worn on one shoulder so didn't come as a pair. Excellent condition with front of brown and silver thread. Rear backing is grey.
Lot of three fire fighter medals. They are from Bethlehem (1910), Harrisberg (1914) and Allentown (1910). Condition is generally good and can be seen in the photos. There is a small stain to the left side of the photo on the Bethlehem medal. There is enamel chipping to the Harrisberg medal and the Allentown medal has a stain and wear to the edge of the photo. Neat set of medals, two of which have photos of horse pulled fire wagons.
Nice example of the armband "Im Dienst der Deutschen Wehrmacht" as worn by non-uniform personnell attached to the German army. Some wrinkling but no damage. Fair amount of staining as shown in photographs.
Excellent example of a famous armband. Designated for wear by support personnel. Good color and no damage.
Excellent condition NSBO hat badge. Silver washed alloy with both attachment prongs present and undamaged. Hard to find item.
These were purchased from a friend who is an avid military signature collector. He purchased a bulk lot of these directly from Galland who passed away in 1992. The postcard is a reprint of a war time postcard that he used to sign autographs. It is a nice portrait photograph of him in his Luftwaffe uniform with, among other decorations, his Knight's Cross with oakleaves. As I have a few of these the signature may not be located exactly as shown in the below photographs, but it will be an identica...
Nice looking patch. Luftwaffe eagle over cogwheel and "G L" designates this as technical service which was in charge of a myriad of extra "chores" from ordering parts, materials and consumer goods to organizing promotions and transfers to supplying life buoys to the Sea Emergency Service. Very nice with only minor signs of age.
RAD tunic sleeve patch. Excellent example; Clean and clear. Great to put on that tunic or to add to a Labor Corps display.
