Neat piece of pharmaceutical advertising. Fluid filled, clear man with colored organs. The drug advertised is Diuril and was produced by Merck Sharp and Dohme. Some research indicates that these were used in the late 1950's.

Very interesting Honorable Discharge from the Army of the Confederate States. Condition is rough but I doubt many of these have survived, much less even given out as the Confederacy was never in a good position to just let trained soldiers walk away. The ink is very faded but I know "document guys" do have ways of bringing old, faded ink back to life. It is possible to make out a lot of the details, though...

1932 dated signed postcard of Beniamino Gigli. Gigli was an Italian opera singer who many consider to be one of the very finest tenors in the recorded history of music. Good sized signature is on bottom part of the photograph. This is from the estate of Edward A. Schaeffer, a family friend who passed away a few years ago. Collecting autographs of public figures from all walks of life was, for him, an obsession/addiction that brought him much happiness while he was still with us...

Yes, you read the title correctly. This came from an advanced collection. I am not in a hurry to sell this and mostly listed this to share it with some of my regular customers that I consider friends. The bottom text reads "Spare parts for boiling water pump". I believe this was off of a parts locker or cabinet meant for boiler repair but I guess this could also be for a water pump; Hard to tell with my imperfect grasp of the German language...

Very cool medal for the centennial anniversary of the 7th Regiment National Guard from the State of New York. Good looking medal with minor age wear to the gold finish. This is a big medal and looks to be about 5cm across and rather thick. Measurement is an estimate as it is cased in a shadow box. The shims in the back are numerous and jammed in there really tight so instead of making my fingers bleed I am going to skip on a photograph of the back...

Reproduction roundel from an SS officer's belt buckle. For what it's worth I do think this is an old repro. Correct aluminum material.

Early German kids' sword, somewhere between a kindersabel anda toy. I\When I saw this shopping I just fell in love with the tag. It is just under 5x5 inches at its widest and has a surprising amount of paint left. The maker name Avant-garde is written across the top. Below that is a neat picture of a heavy cavalry soldier brandishing a sword (Just like the attached toy) and charging a firing infantryman in front of a cannon emplacement...

Beautiful example of a classic badge. This example has a simply lovely chocolate patina throughout with original pin on the reverse. This badge was given to those who attended this famous rally in 1933. The importance of this rally was soon recognized and this badge became an officially recognized medal which could be worn on uniform. A must for any serious Third Reich collection.

Well, here's a conversation starter. For whatever reason wealthier families used to be fixated on dressing their kids up in sailor suits. This three piece set came out of Lancaster Pa which has always had a sizable German community. Germans in the early 1930's saw a resurgent Germany and, without seeing the darker side, were proud of being German...

Neat little patriotic flag or banner. About 18x27cm. Mounted on a crimped metal hanger. Great wall hanger as this is a portrait type showing lots of medals.

Nice 2nd model lftwaffe dagger. No make mark but in solid condition and priced right. Blade is in terrific condition. Handle has nice deep orange color. One of the braided handle wires has a break in one thread. This can be seen in the photo closeup and even when one is looking for it this is not a big deal. Metal fittings are aged as shown in photos...

Interesting SS propaganda leaflet or booklet. 14 pages in rather rough shape and mostly detached; Priced accordingly. Although undated it seems to be from that early to mid war period where the German hierarchy was hoping against hope that the British would just come to their senses and realize that Germany was fighting to save Europe and that the only hope the British had of maintaining their empire was to call a truce with Germany. Interestingly enough, this last bit had some truth behind it. ...

Interesting Bavarian shako with a very attractive horse hair plume. I am not sure of the exact use or designation of this piece but it is definitely an old example. Considering the age the plume is in great shape (See images). Nicely detailed brass Bavarian plate on the front. Officer's metal scale chin strap with Bavarian style lion rivets. There is one officer's type cockade on the wearer's left. There are a few modifications that have been made but this is nothing terribly alarming as this ty...

Respectable SD heer helmet. Period overcoat of sand grit paint. One of those "been there" pieces with solid aging and a field look to it. Respectable decal with aging in line with the rest of the helmet. Also a couple of white flecks of paint from an uncareful previous owner; Could be nicked off easily but I don't touch anything. Chinstrap is a little stiff but could be conditioned. Liner is in good shape with a nice dark brown toning. I find no maker marks or lot number; Either it was unmarked ...

This is a very interesting item with a fair amunt of character. The book is titles "Die Wehrmacht Das Buch des Krieges 1940/41". It is a typical German propaganda book with lots of good photos and text and goes into fairly good depth on the war in France, air war against the British, the Balkan campaigns and the invasion of Russia. The book becomes interesting when the cover is opened and we find the book was presented to SS Funker (Radioman) Dietrich Eckern. Basically reading "Dedicated on the ...

Nice luftwaffe flight suit. Leather is in overall very good condition. There is one gash on the leg (See last photo). Also, on the rear of the neck, under the collar the stitching is out and there looks to be a tiny additional tear (See photo) but this is small and behind the collar so basically unnoticeable. Besides that, minimal age wear only. The best part of this suit is that all of the zippers are in good working order. I don't remember the last suit I saw without one missing tooth; And the...

Extremely interesting WWI German steel helmet. Looks to have an Italian liner and chinstrap. Very consistent patina on throughout. Could be visually improved by simply letting some oil soak in but I am a purist and don't even clean my finds. It is impossible to see how the liner and strap system are fixed as it is underneath the metal band and I can't pull on the liner too much; It is simply out of site. The chinstrap is not using the original German chinstrap bolts. The liner is in very solid s...

A very impressive piece. Eagle trophy presentation reads: "Our esteemed company commander SS Haupsturmfuhrer Zahn in memory of the 4th (MG) Company of the 8th SS TK Regiment, Lublin on January 30, 1941". This rank is basically equivalent to a captain which is right in line with being a company commander. Apparantly this fellow was the commander of a machine gun of the 8 SS Totenkopf regiment. While Lublin has terrible memories associated with the war, I would assume that this unit, being a machi...
