| Wow. Hard to find 1864 Lincoln campaign button. I think this was used as a stickpin front as there is a tiny gold spot central 12 o'clock on the back, maybe from a broken post. Ferrotype photo of Abe with his name above. Some surface damage as shown in images; Forgivable on a rare item. Patent info to left of image and date to the right. Needless to say, Lincoln was one of our most dynamic presidents and the fate of the nation hung in the balance of his reelection campaign of 1864. | ||||||
