| This is a very important item. While it is not a particularly rare book, it has three separate identifying plates reading 'Hauptarchiv der NSDAP Nr. 2,66' which basically states the book is from the Head/Main Archives of the Nazi party. These are located on the bottom corner of the back cover, inside the front cover and on the page with publisher information. Also inside the front cover is a signed dedication from when it was given and a stamp labeling the book as surplus from the Library of Congress (Quite ironic that it went from their main archive to ours). The book itself was published shortly after the Nazis came to power and apparantly deals mostly with that process. Cover to cover it deals with the armed Freikorps and the struggle involved. With interesting subject matter and this being the copy from their main library makes this an important item. | |||||||||||||||
