Sake Bottle w Soldier Over Map of China - WWII Japanese

Very interesting sake bottle with a WWII era soldier in field kit standing over a map of China. The writing is a dedication commemorating the return home from "The China Incident". The war in China, although very large and very bloody, is called an "incident" and not a "war" because there was never any official declaration. Very similar to the United States conflict in Vietnam being a "police action". The green base color is a little bit darker then the photos show. Very neat bottle with a design that sets it apart from the standard examples.
