NSKK Plaque Motorbrigade Nordsee 1935 Event-WWII German

Really a neat plaque. 3. HANSEATISCHE ORIENTIERUNGSFAHT 5.MAI 1935. I believe in this type of event the participants would be dropped off at an unknown and they were to figure out where they were on a map and get to an end point. Whether an exercise or a competition, this was meant to improve navigational sand motoring kills. The unit given on the bottom is NSKK MOTROBRIGADE NORDSEE. The wood has been added by some enterprising soul. There is a hook for wall hanging and the wood could be treated to be more presentable. Metal plaque itself measures a little over 9cm from top point to base. Very neat item and fairly priced in the range of a quality NSKK tinnie.
