| 25 year faithful service award in issue box. Medal is in great condition with almost all original silver frosting intact. Original ribbon and pin. Box is very nice but corners are open on top two corners of the bottom and all four corners of the lid but this is usually the case as these boxes are made of very thing cardboard. Felt top and bottom with maker label on the top. Label reads "Gold- u. Silver- Scheideanstalt Oberstein Franz Reischaue". Interestingly enough a quick search of this name shows some patents registered in the 1980's but I guarantee this medal is older then that. Interesting that the name of this firm has not changed at all since the war. Nice overall package priced right. | |||||||
