Japanese Officer Leather Riding Shin Guards - WWII IJA
Very nice pair of leather shin guards for horseback riding. These are typical of the type that Japanese officer's would wear and sure enough, each piece has written inside "Second Lieutenant of Infantry Nishimura Katsujiro in very nice, clear writing. Named gear is always fun and these would look superb with an appropriate uniform. Condition is terrific throughout with only the mildest signs of age and use. Straps and buckles are all present and leather is soft, supple and nicely toned. Really a nice set.
