| Nice Luftwaffe DD. The eagle side, unfortunately, has a mostly rubbed out decal with a few parts and the general shape still visible. The tri-color side is a terrific looking decal with a cool crackle pattern to the crazing. The shell overall has a nice original finish with pleasant signs of age wear (Greatly exaggerated in my photos because I use a heavy flash for my photography). Maker and size marked SE64 for Sachsishe Emaillerwerke, Lauter. The chinstrap is awfully fresh so I think it was likely a recent addition as it is too perfect. It is marked Allisch & Co Wien 1942. The liner is complete with nice, dark aging to the leather. The rivets are quite flat and flush and look to not have been tinkered with. All in all a quite decent helmet. | |||||||||||||||
