Lapel pin showing WWI Iron Cross First Class with 1939 spange which represents dedication stretching over 40 years. Lapel pins are fun to collect as only those who were awarded the medal were allowed to wear this when in civilian clothes. It is a fun way to collect medals that may be out of price range or, if the medal is in collection, to improve the display. Light oxidation and white surface corrosion. Not too bad (See photos) and may clean up a bit further (I don't clean anything). This is a rare stickpin.
