What an interesting item. With all of the millions of event tinnies out there when was the last time we saw a ticket to attend such a rally where the chancellor would be speaking. Surely this one would not be around if the owner had not mounted it on a thick piece of craft paper. With just a bit of research I found one site that says Hitler gave a speech in Leipzig on this day but the location is unknown. The ticket first says the event is a mass rally with Hitler speaking. Below the date is a brief description of the event. My favorite part is at the end of this where the ticket states "Rauchen verboten!". Smoking is forbidden. After all the crazy stuff he perpetrated over the over the next 7 years he could at least sleep well because he was a vegetarian and didn't smoke cigarettes. Wow. This event was exactly two weeks after the annexation of Austria so I am sure it was an interesting speech with plenty to talk about. Really a fascinating item that gives us an echo of that moment in time.
