Purchased in the early 80's as a gift, I put it away and promptly forgot about it. What is so unique about it is the Bluebird sits on the outside of the globe and her head is going through the globe to the inside! She is feeding her babies in the nest. The base I believe is made of resin with detailed flowers and grass all around. When shaken pretty glitter swirls around.
