Victorian Boy and Girl Ashtray

Here is an unusual ashtray depicting a boy and girl in Victorian costume. They are hand painted, delightful little characters carrying what looks to be flowers or vegetables. On the bottom is stamped into the ceramic MADE IN JAPAN with a Y symbol inside a O. They are about 3 1/4 inches tall and the bottom measures 4 inches x 2 3/4 inches. I see no chips or cracks and is in good condition for its age. I would estimate the age to be in the 50s. If you have any questions or would like more pictures, please feel free to email me.
