Gorgeous yellow with gray speckles all through this Bauer casserole dish with metal rack holder.This 1 quart casserole dish measures approximately 7 1/2" across the rim, 3" deep, and with the lid on it is 4 1/2" to the top of the finial. Serving holder 10 " from handle to handle by 7". From Kovels.com: "Bauer pottery is a California-made ware. J.A. Bauer bought Paducah Pottery in Paducah, Kentucky, in 1885. He moved the pottery to Los Angeles, California, in 1909. The company made art pottery after 1912 and dinnerwares marked Bauer in 1930. The factory went out of business in 1962.
