1960's Alps Television Spaceman Robot

Vintage 1960's 1st version Television Spaceman robot made in Japan by Alps. It was a very popular robot of it's time and sold exclusively in the Sears catalog in the 1960s .Very unique battery operated tin robot ( requires 2 D batteries not included)with multi actions including walking with swaying arms , spinning eyes , lighted mouth with spinning scrolling television screen depicting space men on the moon . The metal antenna acts as the off/on switch. Measures approximately 15" tall . In excellent condition , we tested the robot it works great, no missing parts, no cracks in the face plate or any where else , very clean even the battery pack on the back, little bit of paint rub loss on the corner of battery door from opening and closing it through the years and this is very minor. Sorry there is no box
