This little lamp stands 6 1/2" to the top of the glass chimney. The shade is plastic and has grapes molded into it. The base is of glass and once was a perfume bottle. There is residue from the fragrance in the bottom of the base and the perfume can still be detected by sniffing the chimney. Don't know age but in the long-ago days, these little convertible perfume bottles were a big hit. There are no chips, cracks or dings to bottle or chimney. There is a slight discoloration on the edge of one side of the shade, about 1" in length and 1/4" in height at its widest spot (visible in the second picture), but it does not detract from its beauty. There is no wick because a cork is in the part of the chimney covered by the shade. A cute little item from the collection of a woman who died at an old age and had many, many miniature lamps.
