An Early American Pressed Glass Compote made by US Glass Co. in the Rare Coin pattern. Production was ceased after just four months of production by the US Government beacause official coins were used in the pattern. The Compote measures 6 3/4" wide and 4" tall. Condition is very good. One coin has clear spots in the frosted section. and there is a very small grouping of chips on the inside edge of the base.
