A Pair of Art Deco Catalonian Tri-Cornered Vases by Consolidated Lamp and Glass Company. Designed by Reuben Haley with patent filed June 29, 1928. Amethyst with a slight irridescence, vase on the left is a softer lavender than vase on the right. The pattern is also called Spanish Knobs and was made to resemble hand made old Spanish glassware from the Catalonia area of Spain. Distinctive with its bubbles, swirls and undulating waves no two pieces were ever identical. Pontil mark on bottom is a bit rough. Pictured in the book "Depression Era Art Deco Glass" by Leslie Pina and Paula Ockner on page 109 in Honey amber color and page 110 shows United States Patent Office drawing. Condition is very good, NO chips, cracks or fleabites.
