6 Vintage Pressed Glass Salt and Pepper - Sterling Tops

Wonderful set of 6 pressed glass salt and pepper shakers. Very petite and elegant. Perfect for dinner parties at large tables so your condiments can be closer to your guests. These will look good with any table setting from fine dining to casual events.

Set of 6 - measuring 2 5/8" tall x 1 1/4" wide at the base. These taper up to an opening approx 7/16" wide. The bottoms are marked: "Pat. Appl'd For Made in U.S.A.". There is a number on the bottom - probably the mold #. This number is different on the pieces. The tops are marked sterling.

The overall condition is very good. There are no chips or breaks. The sterling caps screw on and off easily and the holes are free and clear of debris. There is some pitting on the sterling (this will happened when exposed to salt). I cleaned one of them and while some of the tarnish came off, there are discolorations in the metal. In other words these will not clean like bright shiny new sterling. In my opinion I'd let them go back to a nice patina to show their age. It gives the pieces a nice vintage look - while still being functional and beautiful. (I tend to over-describe condition issues - I know you hate surprises as much as I do).
