1921 Band Music Folio with 38 pieces of Drum Music

Interesting Drum Music collection with folio, circa 1921. The Dwight W Godard Loose Leaf Band Music Folio with 38 pieces of sheet music for Drums.

The folio measures 7 1/4 x 5 1/2" , made for Carl Fischer, Inc, Patent date August 23, 1921 USA. Has a clear window where the sheet music is displayed, and snaps closed in the back to keep it secure. This would then clip onto a metal music holder on the instrument so the musician could march while playing. In very good condition, snap working, no rips or tears, a couple of loose strings, minor foxing on the inside advertising panel.

38 drum marches cut to fit the holder window. Some titles include: Shoutin' Liza Trombone, March "Let's Go", American Eagle March, The Stars and Stripes Forever, King Cotton March, Sabre and Spurs (March of the American Cavalry) and many more. All in good condition, some minor corner wear and they are not always cut straight but all music is intact.
