Very rare because of several factors - the delicacy of these fragile glass items defy survival over 60+ years, and also, each was handmade and done in limited quantity. Also, the fact these survived the WWII years, in Europe, is astounding! This particular set consists of 6 glasses with figural nude stems and a matching decanter with a figural nude INSIDE the decanter! Excellent condition on all. No damages!

#1328-Art Glass Bride's Basket Bowl

That Was Then
(954)428-5858

$350.00

This 12 3/8" scallop edged bowl rings like a bell! It is cased glass (all white on outside) and shades from a deep orangey-rust to a pale peachy color. It is enamelled with multi-color decoration. The uniquest part of this particular bowl are the raised (embossed) styled flower with glossy gold gilding. Very unusual. The only defect is some gold wear to those raised flowers - otherwise perfect! See photos. Also, bottom diameter that would fit into a holder is 3 3/4".

#1326-Incredible Handpainted Enamel Decanter and Glasses

Art Glass: Pre 2000  stock# aqs1326

That Was Then
(954)428-5858

$550.00

These highly decorative, handpainted glass pieces are 20th century. The glass has air bubbles and is not perfectly "white" or clear which is indicative of older glass. There is no damage - no loss of color, no damages to the glass (no chips, cracks, etc.). There are 4 tumbler/high ball type glasses. There are variations in the sizes and weights of each - another indication that these are old. They are all handblown. Pictures to be added.

The stand features wonderful dolphins. The flamboyant ruffles on the bowl are like a fancy fish tail! Blue applied threading on a hobnail body. Looks like vaseline but isn't. Ca. 1900. English.

$475.00

This deep and unusually ruffle-edged art glass bowl shades from a glorious peach-blow shade of light cranberry to the traditional green of vaseline glass. It is in excellent, undamaged condition. Probably Stevens & Williams of England. Pictures to be added.
