These hard-to-find Water Lilly decorated plates (Wedgwood's spelling, by the way) are a combination of handpainting and transferware. Originally this design appeared in the early 1800's as one of twelve "botanical" themed designs. These plates were done in the 1920's. Absolutely stunning plates for either hanging on the wall, placing in a cabinet, or using! They are 8" in diameter.
