This bowl has a lattice and floral overlay. It dates from the 1940's or possible 30's. The silver overlay is quite thickly applied. Rim is also silvered. They are both in excellent condition. The glass might have been made by Cambridge because it looks like the Caprice pattern.

I have seen these with padded velvet covered cushions used as pincushions and selling for "big" money at antique shows. Some are hallmarked Gorham, Alvin, and some Birks but all say "Sterling". Excellent, undamaged condition. I have several and most are pierced sided, but a few are solid sided. Your choice. Priced is for "each".

This item is brand spanking new! Made of sterling silver and as pretty as any antique one you've ever seen, it is perfect for that June wedding! It is pierced with a heavily repoussed floral design. It has a sharp pin that will pierce the flower stems and will securely fasten to the opposite side of the holder to keep the bouquet from falling out. This is a truly wonderful and unusual item.
SHI $9.00 additional.
