This is a very pretty and gracefully curved sterling silver sauce ladle with a fancy cartouche of enamel work on the handle. The hallmarks do not appear to be English or American - possibly French.

What a great find! Beautiful enamel work on a gold-washed, sterling base. Unmarked but undoubtedly Scandinavian (looks like Marius Hammer, possibly David Andersen or could be Russian).
