Highly desireable, A. Michelsen Christmas spoons and forks were introduced in 1910. This one is from 1969 and is called "Greenlander" (2 available). It is sterling silver, and gold washed. These Danish spoons and forks were sold exclusively through the Georg Jensen shop. All the Michelsen spoons and forks I have are in excellent condition. Many more years are listed on my site. While supplies last, these years are also available, even if not listed on the site: 1927, 41, 62, 67, 71, 73 ...click for details

Lovely "hard" purse (known as a minaudiere) fashioned from sterling silver by the American silver maker, Blackinton. The purse measures approx. 3 1/2" x 2 1/2" plus the 12" link chain handle. The beautifully chased floral design (same on both front and back) surround an oval cartouche which is not monogrammed. This dates from about 1900. The interior is lined in a muted green moire patterned silk which is in excellent condition also. Three compartments to hold your small ...click for details

This wonderful enamel on sterling set was made in Mexico - probably between 1950-1980 (older hallmark). The stoppers appear to be the originals and are of a hardened white rubber. I have not attempted to remove them. The enamel on this pair of mushroom-shaped sterling salt and peppers is in perfect condition. The silver could use a good polish but otherwise this pair is in excellent condition. Made in Mexico.

I have seen these with padded velvet covered cushions used as pincushions and selling for "big" money at antique shows. Some are hallmarked Gorham, Alvin, and some Birks but all say "Sterling". Excellent, undamaged condition. I have several and most are pierced sided, but a few are solid sided. Your choice. Priced is for "each".

This is a very pretty and gracefully curved sterling silver sauce ladle with a fancy cartouche of enamel work on the handle. The hallmarks do not appear to be English or American - possibly French.
