One of a group of 21 Steiff vintage animals recently acquired. All were purchased during the US Occupation of Germany (US Zone). This one is in good condition. The collection included: elephant, lying leopard, colored duck, Waldili (clothed dachsund with hunting rifle), camel, cocker spaniel, 2 penguins, dalmation, teddy bear, white monkey, brown monkey, pig, giraffe, terry terrier, lamby the black sheep, floppy bunny, Disney's Bambi, and finally, kitty.
